I've really enjoyed I, Vampire by DC. Surprisingly good, imo.

picking up back issues isn't really something i can do at the moment so would it be hard to jump in during the zero issue and go from there?

Hine and Haun's The Darkness is 5 issues in, you should be able to track them down. Great jumping on point.

Because 100 always tends to be the milestone issue. They're usually always expensive and harder to fine after they get released.

I think that should work. If you picked up the last two to three issues you'd be fine as well (if you could). The tpb comes out in Oct I believe. But if you like Animal Man, Swamp Thing, and JL:Dark, you should like it (and in fact, I think the weakest issues were with the JL: Dark crossover that just took place).

There is a new series dark horse is starting in october called ex sanguine that looks interesting. My pull list is so big i had to pass though. May pick up the trade if the first few issues get good reviews. I added revival to my pull after seeing good stuff about that. Still waiting for the second print of issue one to be released so that could be another one to jump into.

Darkness and Spawn both had recent jump on points. 101 and 220 respectivly. Both quite dark(er than usual) and horror like in their current runs.

You could pick up creepy comics(is it a bimonthly series?) by Dark Horse, or does it have to be monthly ongoing? If not you could pick up BPRD 1948 #1.

Blue Water cant seem to get their books out, so I cant recommend Vincent Price. I love the Bella Lugosi book. They are self contained so you dont need to do any catching up. Also picking up Scary when it ships. I wouldnt call I Vampire a horror book. Its a super hero book based on vampires. I know alot of people love it, but I dropped it.

The Bela Lugosi Tales from the grave series seem to have a random release schedule....So I'm not sure how often issues are released what about Dynamite's New Evil Ernie Series Or Phantom Stranger?(Didio's bad rep as a writer turns me away but the concept is interesting)
