You know what movie has a great ending? The Mighty Peking Man. The ending is leaps and bounds better that everything that takes place before it, but you need to watch the whole thing to really appreciate it. You may have to slog your way through some of the movie, but the ending makes it worth it.

Well, here's some movies with endings I enjoyed:

    • Casino Royale
    • Quantum of Solace
    • The Avengers
    • The Dark Knight
    • The Dark Knight Rises
    • Casablanca
    • Citizen Kane
    • 2001: A Space Odyssey
    • Star Wars
    • The Hunt For Red October
    • Captain America
    • The Matrix
    • The Bourne Identity
    • Heat
    • Casino
    • Saving Private Ryan
    • Layercake
    • Locked, Stocked, and Two Smoking Barrels

I'm sure I'll think of more.

I happen to like the ending of the first Iron Man movie that did away with the plot in the comic that I find a little silly to begin with involving Iron Man being Tony's bodyguard.

Yeah, that was one of those changes that simply made sense to do.
Eh, Comics is a pretty cool guy...

i really liked Unbreakable. but i also loved the ending to Captain America. to me, it felt like i was just waiting the entire movie for him to wake up in the present. it was just great to see Rogers run out of the SHIELD sound stage out into present day New York.

The ending of The Incredibles. Which will still go down as one of the best superhero films I've ever seen. I also felt Unbreakable played it better than Heroes when it came to the whole superpowers in the real world scenario.

To me, finding Captian America's body should have happened at the start of The Avengers, with Iron Man finding Captian America in the arctic. It would have been better if Captain America stayed in his time period in his movie, and was brought into the present in The Avengers.

I didn't mind the ending. IMO I felt Steve's progression as leader of The Avengers could have been handled a little better instead of the whole team just instantly following the guy

I actually liked the last few minutes of the first Matrix movie..just seeing Neo up and fly away like that. Not that it's the only part I like in the film(My fav in the series is the 2nd one for some reason).

EDIT: Just to get into tv shows for a second there is one Smallville episode..it ends with Lex walking through his 33.1 center with a bunch of meteor freaks imprisoned..and he's just walking all casually bad ass past them like it's a normal office building. Here is a clip:

Speaking of Smallville. I liked the ending of his character arc better than Clark's. He became who he is because of his own choosing while Clark became Superman just because his two dads tell him to. To me thats no character growth. Clark still needed someone to hold his hand instead of manning up and accept his own destiny

The ending of Unbreakable is great. Such a shocker at the time.

As I mentioned in one thread it handles superpowers in the real world better than Heroes did
