Terminal case right here, best cure thus far has been Thief of Thieves by Kirkman/ Spencer #1-6. Solid read, and much more palatable than ANYTHING AvX related. That and chuckling profusely at spoilers about AvX and all the related dreck.

It seems to me Marvel is making sure every single Hitch-drawn issue of this arc is actually fully completed before distributing any of the issues. A wise move in my opinion.

I don't think the Avengers arc is Ultron related. Here are the solicits for each...

Hitch, Bendis, Brevoort, Axel, etc. have all that said Hitch's part of the story has already been completed. The story is obviously taking place in the future or alternate reality, so I don't think it will impact anything that will happen in Hickman's Avengers. Maybe they go the route like AoA where something in the past triggers the Age of Ultron.

I don't think it'll happen tho'. I'm guessing that maybe one of Hickman's issues will be #100..? If so, well, I suppose we better expect something big.
Well issue 32 will be #98 of Bendis' run, including his .1 issue, but excluding the Annuals.

I'm really hoping we get a #33 in November, followed by an oversized finale #100 in December.

But the New Avengers is the Drumm of Revenge storyline that was teased on that time stream map from Avengers #5. It's about time really, this revenge had better be well thought out for how long Jericho's brother waited.
Well thought-out in a Bendis book? You kid surely.

The Wasp would make sense... either he genuinely brings her back or this is all a cruel tease (which makes the characters come to grips with the fact that she's really gone and never coming back)

His New Avengers arc seems to be about tying off similar loose ends with the Jericho/Daniel Drumm storyline.

wasp? if she comes back, she needs a new love interest. The back and forth with her and hank is tired. Shang Chi, Falcon, Scott Lang, etc.

Anyone know it Hellstrom will be involved in this final arc? He was there when Voodoo bit it. Seems only fitting he'd be there when his brother comes back for revenge.

    I haven't heard either way.

It would make sense in terms of symmetry of plot, but it wouldn't be in character for Strange to trust Daimon after what happened in Fearless. Still, he might just... turn up. I guess he's in with an outside chance of being the next Sorcerer Supreme, but I'm 90% sure the title is going back to either Strange or a revived Brother Voodoo.

If it is just a cruel tease I will not be a merry man that day.

I agree if or when she comes back I don't want to see Hank as her love interest at least for a while (though I think it'd be inevitable that Hank will become a love interest at some point).
