Why in the world would anyone assume Bucky frm this? Cap is a SUPER soldier...even tho it says "soldier", Bucky's title never even registered w/me...odd that CBR would even go there.

Very cool creative team in captain america.
Jrjr in CA is the best choice for this title.
He illustrated captain recently and was all around cool art featuring this classic character.

Love Remender, love Captain America, I'm alright with Romita, but I have to know the concept behind Remender's run before I make a decision. Romita's work isn't something that works well with Brubaker's run, so if he's continuing on the super serious espionage feel I really don't think it will work. I imagine if Romita is on the project it will probably be more super hero-ish than it is even now, which is odd because Remender is practically known for super serious espionage and darkly toned action packed craziness.

Hurm... Remender is really hit and miss for me. He usually starts a story out well and then it pancakes. And Romita, well his style suits Kick-Ass but his Marvel stuff the past couple of years has been pretty bad. The last Romita issue I read that looked any good was Punisher: The List. I'll read the first arc but I'll drop it and stick with Bru's WS if it doesn't do it for me.

I don't know if the "Remender is crazy about killing people" stuff is really fair.

I mean, his most recent books I am aware of are..

Punisher- Punisher kills... death is to be expected

Venom- Venom kills... death is to be expected

X-Force- X-Force is a black ops kill squat... death is to be expected

Secret Avengers- A black ops squat that has no problems blowing up whole cities worth of bad guys and killing people... death is to be expected.


Isn't death expected in these titles???
