I'm realizing now how Dick Grayson is basically the perfect anime protagonist.

I wish he could be popular as Spiderman, I'd watch the shit out of Nightwing's cartoon series or live action film. But I don't think that's happening anytime soon.
It would take years to get a huge fan base.
'If you meet a loner, no matter what they tell you, its not because they enjoy solitude. It's because they have tried to blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them'
Not a chance. Maybe ROBIN. Just the name that links to Batman's side-kick.
But not Grayson or Nightwing.
Spiderman is too well known.
"You can't trust them as poets either. The true poet is anonymous, as to his habits, but these boys have to look, act, and apparently smell like poets"
Flannery O'Connor on the beats.
Though Dick Grayson is a known entity, most people think of him as Robin and always will. And no matter how cool he is, people in general will always think of him as Batman's boy wonder.
I think it would be great if DC pushed/marketed Nightwing more. He is young with the humorous attitude that makes Spiderman interesting. I really want a Nightwing shirt for my son, who loves Nightwing, but can only find one of an old logo and it is hard to find available to buy.
Chill!
Man, those animation designs are beautiful.
I think you could; you never know when the right combo will take off like a rocket. The Teen Titan had been a moribund property for DC until Perez and Wolfman got hold of them and made them as popular as the X-Men at the height of the X-Men's popularity. You have people praising an Aquaman book, these days. Who knows what could happen with the right talent?

By the way, I'm not sure if "everybody" knows that.
That happened back in the firt half of the 1980's, and I think that was dropped after Crisis on Infinite Earths and the massive reboot of Superman occurred.
Long time fans and/or die-hard fans may know it, but I'm not sure about "everybody".
