I think the big questions here are how long will Moore be able to stay on this book, and if Deadpool warrants a $3.99 book. Isn't his current ongoing selling at $2.99? Or am I mistaken?

Yeah my only gripe with Moore is his lateness. His art is sooooo good though.

Now that the unfunny Way era of Deadpool is over, I might check it out again.

Yeah, long LONG overdue. Way's DP has had about two chuckles in five years, for me.

There was that fight with Daken where he dropped a piano on him. I got a chuckle out of that one.

Other than that singular moment, though, Way's run was boring. Especially in context of the extremely high quality writing Deadpool has had in his time (Starting with Kelly's initial run, through Simone's underrated Deadpool/Agent X run and then Nicieza's masterful Cable & Deadpool).

Now if they just get rid of the stupid double thought boxes. Over-complicated, unnessecary, and not funny. A single funny thought box style (you know, how Deadpool USED to be written) will do juuuuuust fine.

I put the Priest Run ahead of Way's. The storyline where Loki told him his son, and then cursed him to look like Thom Cruz, and him living with Constrictor and Titania... that's three funny concepts. And we got them in a shorter run than Way's had. The meat-suit was probably the funniest Way moment. But that was back during Dark Reign, which is like an eternity ago, now.
