I'm hoping it does well for him & his writing partner. He's been working hard on it, to the point of being burned out...a few months ago he was talking about quitting drawing after he gets the graphic novel done. I think he's over that though lol. Here is his previous comic:

I have to say, the more I look back at John in Mosaic era and what could have been, the least interested I am in the character today.

Im reading Manhattan Projects, Danger Club (I freaking love this book and I never been into sidekick heroes like that), Perter Panzurfauset, Theif of Theives, Walking Dead, Saga, Happy, and I was collecting Vescell but it hasnt been out for a minute.

I actually spoke to the Vescell writer and his brother (I forget his name but dude is crazy funny) at NYCC and they were like that the artist has been dealing personal issues but they still gonna drop #8.

Im from New York but Danny Brown is that dude. Met him when he was opening up for ASAP Rocky here in NY.

I don't trust anything they do with John Stewart in a comicbook. The only JS I care for is the one in the animated series.

I skipped on Prophet cause when it dropped I had to choose between it and Glory (which I also forgot to mention before) and I couldnt pass on Ross Campbell art. I never checked out Planetoid. I'll see whats up with sometime in the future tho since you recommend it.

I been slowly getting off the big two ship over the past couple of years. With only UCSpider-Man, New Avengers and Avengers making the cut for Marvel and Batman over at DC and thats after trying like 10 of the DC book with Nu52.

Cyborg i'm not too worried about, i think his profile is really getting a come up in JLA. John Stewart however seems to be an after thought in any and all Lantern series which i can see heck they got a corps of them to write for so it's hit and miss, but mostly fail.

Mosaic was for all intents and purposes a Vertigo book.

When the Justice League came out they felt the need to alter the character for a younger audience.
He was fairly popular in the cartoon.

The current version of John is as close to the cartoon version as they could get.

I wish the JLU version of John was closer to the Mosaic version. I enjoyed John in JLU but I think what also helped was hearing his voice. But making him an all serious Marine didn't really allow to show much of the character. But it did help that the writers used him more for the stories. We got to see more of him and Hawkgirl than a lot of the other JL members on the show. But still, a lot of that personality from the comics were gone. And now the comics are trying to emulate that same exact John but without any of the nuances from the show nor the past portrayal of the original books.

I'm trying to get the very last bit of issues I'm missing of Mosaic. I want to try to get it binded.

Great, I so look forward to watching a movie with noting but lens flares and him focusing only on the one character he likes like in that Spock...I mean Star Trek movie

Also, on a marginally related note, any of you guys pick up Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch this week?
