Oh, some FU statements on my tumblr, and calling Hopeless a hack...that and someone on twitter said "Buy two Arena issues!" to which I responded "How about no?" and then I saw that Dennis Hopeless' tag was on there.

Anyway plot holes that a semi can drive through if this is not a VR. Besides that power nerfs for nico and darkhawk. And plenty of OOC Bs. All culminating in the one true trope of the horror genre. Art was great. I mean not to be mean but seeing as reptil defeated arcade already would it not make more sense for arcade to open by blasting reptil to death?

Ugh, I'm so out of the loop when it comes to movies. I just learned that Hudlin is the producer of Django. I might actually see it now. Not "because it's Hudlin", but because (of that style) it'll probably be one of those in your face movies that will ignore the delicate sensibilities of those who are uncomfortable whenever chattel slavery is brought up. And who prefer a more "friendly version" of slavery related films. I just hope that it won't go TOO over the top, and as a result, have the serious issues becoming lost in the action.

What has happened to Gen X is painful, extremely so. Most that cast deserved better than what they got. I mean Monet is the only character that appears regularly (and this is not a dig at her) in the books anymore. That's pretty damn sad.

Emma Frost began her rise in Generation X, so Monet, Emma and Husk (as Charles RB pointed out) are still fine. But I do miss Skin very much.

You know you have to wonder if that Generation X movie was a hit and the posed cartoon didn't become X-Men Evolution-where would that cast be now?.

Not sure; Jubilee was a major character in X-men: the Animated Series; and it didn't save her (BUT... if rumours be true... I think she'll be in Fearless Defenders... YEY!!!)

Totally! The only good thing Avengers Arena has going for it is the SINFULLY gorgeous art of Kev Walker (and even then... McKelvie is no slouch, his work is just as E-PIC!!!)
