How did you feel about Pixie consulting with Psylocke and Domino at the end? They make for terrible emotional role models. I thought it might stick in your craw a little.

I love the Colossus ass shots.

The dialogue at the end was kind of "ugh" but overall it was a great first arc. I hope he gets more room to do whatever he wants come Marvel NOW. He should get a new #1 and whoever he wants on the team. We know it'd probably be Storm, Pixie, and Betsy but everyone else could be replaced. I love Domino but she doesn't really add anything. Sage would be a better fit.

Great issue. Great arc. This is the bread and butter X-Men stuff that I've been woefully missing throughout this whole AvX business. Marvel needs to bend over backwards to ensure Wood remains on the book. Not sure if it's possible with the post-NOW shake-up, but I'd also strongly recommend keeping the team as is.

This sounds like a pretty good arc. I have been waiting to buy this in trades but I'm pretty bummed they hauled off Warpath and kept Colossus. Warpath is like a freer Piotr anyhow. He just really has a knack for slaying stuff and he does it with an almost balletic grace. He would have fit in way better in this title. womp womp.

The only complaint I have is that there was next to nothing that Colossus did that couldn't have been done by Warpath. After X-force, it would've been more interesting to see Warpath's reaction to Storm keeping stuff from Cyclops.

I like Warpath too, but he doesn't have the cred to clash with Storm like Piotr did in this arc. Their roots run deep. Warpath questioning Storm just doesn't mean anything.

Agreed, it wouldn't have been as credible. He's a child messing with a goddess, Piotr is possessed by a god. I like the idea that they tussled this time. I haven't been this excited by an X-men book in years.
