I believe I heard Andy Clarke is doing the backup for #12. Does anyone know who is doing the backups for the zero issue or the Joker arc? I heard Jock rumors but they were just rumors.
I really like the backups in Batman, they get high quality artists and the stories supplement the main feature really well. I love the Justice League backups too (Shazam is wonderful) and the All Star Western backups get super high quality artists. Only book I read that I don't like the backups is Action Comics, Sholly's stories feel like fluff and aren't worth the extra dollar IMO. I have no problem with backups if the quality justifies the extra dollar.

I seem to remember the Jock announcement as a sure thing, but can't remember where I read it. Maybe a convention announcement?

Jock confirmed that he's doing back-ups over on Twitter.
I'm gonna be picking up Batman #12 and Arkham Unhinged. Becky Cloonan looks good.
My li'l bro's gonna pick up B&R, which personally is doing less than nothing for me. Damian's characterisation has gone backwards, especially with a better Damian being written in Batman, Inc. That's not even getting started on Terminus, who is totally uninteresting. I'm gonna try and get him to just collect it in HC format.
