I flipped through it for a second, but it looked kind of awful graphically.

VIVA KUSASAN!!! Morrison On Magneto: I made him into a stupid old drug-addicted idiot. CC had done a lot of good work over the years to redeem the character. And I went in and sh*t on all of it.
It was Written by Gage, any thing he writes should be ignored.
I'm so bored with this martyrdom routine, this halo all you X-men love to polish. Self-described soldiers adorned in an "X" with no dedication to what it actually stands for.
That's just wrong on every level.I feel dirty just reading that.

Glad to see it finally confirmed on-panel that Magneto is a murderer
Seriously, who did Xavier piss off in the X-office? It is like there has been a concerted effort to destroy everything the character stood for over the years. I mean not only have they made him a douche in the recent books. Now someone decided to have as a premise for an entire new book, let's go back in time and turn Xavier into a douche whose contribution to the world was stolen from Wolverine, lol.
On a related note, what else are they going to give Wolverine the credit for? I beat the next time I am in France and go to the Louvre, there will be a painting of Da Vinci paiting the Mona Lisa and Wolverine will be in the background. Better yet, it always bugged me how Jesus was able to take all that punishment and then rise from the dead. Now I know, he was really Wolverine. His resurrection makes perfect sense now.
It's hard for me to listen to people not in my position. A caterpillar can't relate to what an eagle envisions.
I thought the first issue was fairly decent. It wasn't spectacular, but it was an entertaining introduction to a new mini. If you enjoyed X-men First Class the movie, then I don't see how you couldn't enjoy this. We had a Charles Xavier who was young and not really sure he wanted to be part of the mutant conflict. We had a Wolverine and Sabretooth that were still guns for hire who didn't know what they were going to do with themselves. We had some nice action and a few illusions here and there. It was a little all over the place at times, but I still enjoyed it. I just think it's coming in at a lousy time when Avengers vs. X-men is reaching it's end and Marvel NOW! is just over the horizon.

Oh god soooooo bad. It's like it was trying to capture the magic of X-Men First Class yet that movie came out sooooo long ago. I reviewed it and no bueno at the link in my signature.
