I think the reviewer gave this BS four stars too many, and it is great reminder that CBR reviews on the whole suck

Why do you continue to read things you know you'll hate? I can't remember you ever saying something positive.

All I can say is, after event after event since Civil War of Spidey being a non-presence, it is very satisfying to see him front and center in this issue. Over the last decade, the focus of Marvel has been to raise the Avengers brand to prominence and I realize the roles that guys like Cap, Iron Man, and Thor play in the Marvel Universe. But none of them holds the role of being the flagship character of Marvel. That would be Spider-Man, and he needs to be better utilized than he has been in these event stories. Otherwise, keep him free and clear of it all and highlight him in his own mag as it used to be, with the occasional team-up or interaction with rest of the Marvel Universe.

I say the same thing for every other character. Constant team-ups and crossovers are boring, ruin continuity and result in a massive amount of PIS.

Interesting review, and i am glad that the review gave 4 stars to this issue of Avengers Vs X-Men.
I had many expectations about this story, since it have been ages since Spider-Man took a pivotal role in a major marvel event.
Looking forward to get my copy.
This should be a great comic book, and Spider-Man becoming finally a important character in events of this scale is awesome.
    Pull List:Uncanny Avengers,Avengers,Superior Spider-Man,Daredevil,All New X-Men,Hawkeye,Captain America,Thor:God of Thunder,Swamp Thing,Morbius,Thunderbolts,Iron Man,Fatale.

    Thanks!

It's going to be weird to read this from #1 through #12. The pacing is going to get you to issue 4 in a heartbeat then a slow slog of motivations and feelings.

I did! You haven't explained why you continue to read AvX while being predisposed to hating it, though...
