Pretty dang solid. May be my first regular Monthly comic from Marvel in a while.

i thought that Clint spent most of his money on custom arrow heads. archery is expensive. anyways, did this book explain how Clint can lift a car with one arm?

Enjoyed the story, really clicked with Clint, liked the simpleness of it and did kinda feel for the poor doggy.

Unfortunately, much like Captain Marvel the other week, this felt like a one shot. There was no hook, no set up, no foreshadowing, no villain. I'll be back, because Kate Bishop will be here, but I'm not sure I would be if I didnt know that.

The art......it's not for me. It's 'dirty', there is some bang to the motion scenes, but the details aren't there and everything looks drippy and faded and just not the sort of art, or colouring, that I appreciate.

It was alright. I'm neither a Hawkeye nor an Avengers fan but I felt I owed him this after using him so much in UMVC 3. I was pleasantly surprised.

I honestly didn't think I'd enjoy this issue as much as I did, almost didn't pick it up as I'm not a Hawkeye fan and wasn't that interested.

The story was great yeah. But it was the art that sold me on this issue, and I thought it was great! I really loved the art!

The whole "bro" thing just got funny
Avengers Arena is one of the best books in the shops right now, it's seriously amazing.

Yeah, I don't like good art and coloring, either.

Both of those first issues seem to be selling the character themselves as a hook, which I really love. They give you a complete story for your money, put you in the character's head, give you an idea of the kind of things they face and invite you to go along for the ride. Maybe it's a risky move, but I think it's a cool way to start a series and suggest that things will be character driven.

Which would be fine, and I enjoyed both books, but I'm already a generally a fan and would have picked up the books anyway, I'm just thinking in terms of a wider audience and sustaining numbers so as to avoid cancellation, both books could have done with something, an epilogue or something just to foreshadow what's coming next.

Hawkeye is a hard enough sell anyway; he doesnt have much in the way of a rogues gallery and isnt a character whose had much success before in a solo title (or paired with the ex wife anyway). A fun, but self contained story about Clint Barton who is now a kooky landlord and a dog owner.....I'm hoping people stick around, but whether they will.....not so sure

At the end of Blindspot, Zemo put Barney Barton's ill gotten gains into Clint's name as a reward for beating him.

Sort of a "If you lose you die if you win you still must rectifiy your brother's evil".

So Clint's been rich since the end of McCann run with him.

Hawk also now owns the old carnival he used to work at.

Ok I can take it being his brother's money I don't expect the carnival makes him much.I was wondering if Tony was investing his money like Reed did for Ben (is he still loaded?)or something like that.

I like him having Hawk tower he can keep his skycycle on the roof. I am curious how he is going to team up with Kate. I can see now and then but if she is a regular I am curious to see how that comes to be.

If this becomes more about street crime will the Cage, Spidey. DD. and If Haters want him off the Avengers?

so then i wonder what happened to the last owner; Carson's daughter. Clint and Scott Lang helped her from being hassled by the Taskmaster.

Can someone give a spoiler filled recap? I am on the fence on whether to get this or not.
