Netherman Osborn threw Gwen from a waterfall. Peter's clubs were what actually killed her.

That costume is hideous. He would never have to fight his enemies, they would all just fall over laughing. Seriously, it's the absolute worst Spider-Man costume I have ever seen.

It looks like one of those crappy Yu-Gi-Oh style outfits.

I enjoyed your opening explaining you wrote Avengers. Helpful.

Decent reboot, although it's a little bit like an animated cartoon rewrite to me.

    Agreed with everything besides OMD.

    Thanks.
This is a first draft, after all. Things are subject to change.
A common complaint on here and the other board I posted this on is the costume. So I may or may not change that because I really like Rosy Higgin's design.

    Nice sweeping generalization there.

Not too shabby. Not a huge fan of Punisher working for Fisk in any capacity though. And I agree that going against a gun-toting, tough-as-nails, no-nonsense vigilante as your first superhero gig wouldn't be overtly appealing. Or sensible in any capacity.

Hoods give off negative impressions - mostly identified with thugs in the streets, those who thinks they are "bad boys" in general, aswell as perhaps emos, in a sad, sad, SAD, negative emotional state.

Spider-Man, a positive HERO, is neither of that - except in his most pathetically out-of-character states in Spider-Man 3.

I think that's a bit unfair. Hoodies have been commonplace for about five years. Maybe in the 1990's your argument would have a point to it, with it being mostly associated with rap groups and people from places like Harlem, but now they're so common that they have since lost that tie to poverty and "gangsta rap". True, they still wear them, but that's because they're comfortable and affordable.

Does it really need to be rebooted? It's pretty perfect right now.
I had a letter printed once in Amazing Spider-Man #604!

Before Marvel NOW!, my pull list was 14 Marvel books. Now, it's more like 5 Marvel, 7 DC, and a few indies.

    It's a "what-if" situation.

Oops. Sorry. Your idea is interesting, though.
