    That panel sounded like they had a BLAST talking about the good ol' days.

    That Batman annual by TVE has a personal sentamentality for me. I got it as a gift for being a good 11-year old boy...as my wisdom teeth were being yanked out of my mouth!

    I even still own the very copy. I think it may be my favorite Bat-annual...
    Comics still reading: Saga, Sixth Gun, Walking Dead, All New X-Men, Daredevil, Fury MAX. DC New 52 isn't the worth the paper its printed on...

    I loved Trevor Von Eeden's work when I was kid. That Batman Annual was great stuff. The Inkpot was much deserved.

    I like the bit about reusing the same story.

    I quite liked this year's FCBD flip-comic where one of the Whedons (Zack, I think) told the same basic story twice -- once in the Firefly universe with Mal and River and once in the Star Wars universe with Han and Chewie. I thought it was a neat approach.
