Black Panther Powers - AvX 8

Just poppin' down here to ask a quick question (apologies if it's been asked and answered elsewhere, but I couldn't find it)

What exactly are Black Panther's powers these days? I used to collect his book and, as I recall, he's basically human with peak strength and agility and the sharp senses granted by the panther god. Has this changed?

I ask this because, unless I'm misreading the panel, it looks like Namor blasts him point blank with the Phoenix Force and T'Challa doesn't seem to bat an eye. Did he get a power boost somewhere?

In the recent FF book, he did seem to get a bit of a power upgrade. I think he got all the widsom and strength from previous Black Panthers or something.

I'm not exactly sure how powerful that makes him, or if the statement was hyperbole in anyway.

Depending on how much Namor put into that blast (as I imagine power boost or no power boost if Namor really tried, he likely could have killed BP there), that could certainly imply higher levels of durability. He's in Wakanda with Wakandan resources again, so it's also possible he was wearing some sort of armor and we just couldn't tell.

In fantastic four the panther god warns T'Challa of a future flood that destroys Wakanda and how she needs him for a bigger purpose than what the black panther can provide. She gives him the speed, strength and knowledge of all panthers before him. Also him and Reed Richards are like spiritual bffs now

Though I certainly agree that Namor held back, the fact that Namors attack had essentially no effect whatsoever does potentially imply he was at least a bit more durable than he previously was... or perhaps he was wearing protective gear.

Nice try....but d truth as was shown clearly in AVX8 Namor BLASTED BP with d powers of PHOENIX FORCE & BP "didnt bat an eye" which is EXACTLY wat happend meaning BP/Tchalla(being as cunningly smart as he is) may hv protection against Phoenix powers though he may not b able 2 destroy it....& based on dat any1 who read F4 #608 can drawing a strait line correlating BP/Tchalla's power boost frm Bast in preparation 4 dat moment when Namor blasted BP/Tchalla with Phoenix power.

Yeah, I don't buy Mr. "We're at WAR SUMMERS!!!" Namor holding back whatsoever, and do agree it could be a combination of recent power up and this specialty armor he's wearing (an enchanted version of the man without fear armor maybe??)

I wouldn't doubt that T'Challa had Wakandan tech-magic in use during the Atlantian-Attack on Wakanda. That said, Namor should have killed Black Panther while he had the chance because I have a feeling payback is gonna be a b**ch!

Namor certainly said his plan was to come there and Kill T'Challa so he mush not have been holding back too much. The truth we do not know if T'Challa has had any kind of power from the level prior to the Doom ambush. You would think so but we have to wait and see.
