The rumours are true!
Say what you want about rearranging deck chairs, I'm really liking some of these teams.
All told, it's a smart idea if you want to diversify your properties. Some fans follow titles, some follow creators. I fall in both. I'm not liable to read Iron Man, Thor or Hulk most of the time, but with these writers? Hard for me to say no.
So Hulk then?
I might check it out provided it's $2.99.
Now we're talking. Waid and Yu on Hulk: take my money, Marvel!
I think there's a 97% chance that these will be $3.99, especially since they were all $3.99 before the relaunch. Marvel's not likely to lower the cover price. I'm guessing they're banking on big creative names to draw audiences, but that's still a tough pill to swallow in a lot of cases especially with so many big changes. They're very likely to kill their bottom tier dead.
And so far they've only announced the big solo books.
Well, hopefully the books spinning out of Point One will be $2.99 since those are lower-tier properties.

Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!
I don't think this is for the Hulk. Though Yu draws a great Hulk. I figured it was Captain America with his indestructible shield.
But green's Hulk's color.

Yeah given that Aaron's Hulk book was $3.99 the chances of this being $2.99 are lowered but it's hard to say whether that was due to the exclusive writer contracts or whether Marvel just upped the price on the main Hulk title permanently. I sincerely hope the bulk of their Marvel Now line isn't $3.99 because while they seem to be trying to ease the pain by not launching everything at once, when you start looking at your pull list a couple of months in your wallet might start to empty a lot faster.
Granted, a lot of the "franchise" stuff nowadays is $3.99 but that kind of just gives me a bigger reason not to check out Marvel Now which is the opposite effect Marvel intends to have for me but if that's what it needs to be I'll be passing on a lot of stuff.
