Dictator Summers has a son. Dictator Summers II. He can probably provide his own island. And his own X-Force, probably his own P5. If Marvel were going to do that angle, which I don't think they are sadly (pushing Cable as an individual, not an X-Man, X-Force, bro with Wade or Badass dad), it could work well and easily.

What moniker will we use? The All New Unwanted Series X-men?

I suspect it will be the "thrice damned Bendis atrocity" within a few months. Bendis has written good books, it might well be good. Just they usually aren't team books.

They don’t wear hippie rags or say “groovy”; thankfully, riding fashion and cultural trends faithfully was not yet in the minds of the creators, so we dodged a bullet there. That apparently hasn’t stopped people from making comics about Dazzler, however.

So this will be another book focused on the Wolverine & the X-men team (in addition to the O5)? Guess that means there really won't be much of a Blue side anymore post-AvX. I'm thinking maybe Storm's team and/or a revamped X-Force under Cable. That's about it. Everyone else from the X-line will apparently be sucking up to the Avengers and playing by their rules. To the victors go the spoils, I suppose...

...this does, however, pave the way for X-Force to once again be a thorn in SHIELD and Avengers' collective side, so that could be fun.

I've just finished reading 'Siege' and 'Fear Itself' in trade paperback and although they were 'supposedly' crossovers they appeared to be little more than glorified Avengers books. The writers ddin't seem interested in any other well known Marvel characters except the ones who'd joined the Avengers. So in future at least we'll actually see more X characters in future crossovers, but I genuinely am baffled by Marvel's obsession with just one bunch of charatcers. Why all this Avengers love?

I LOVE this thread already. I just watched 300 again yesterday and paused on some glorious Fassbender scenes.


I love Immonen too (his work) so now i feel kinda compelled to buy this horrendous excuse for an x-men comicbook
