Im a big fan of sabretooth. I liked the mini series he had with Mark Texira art and the Mary shelly overdrive mini. If Marvel gave him another mini or ongoing,id check it out.

I would read it. Sabretooth is a character that has always been better in his solo appearances than when he is used as a gneric Wolverine villain.
Mary Shelly Overdrive is a great example of this. The history of Sabes and Mystique and their current appearances in Wolverine might be interesting to explore in an ongoing or maybe a maxi series.
yup
victor and raven have been around for a ton of time and honestly, they work better almost outside the standard marvel universe.
you could do highlander like flashbacks with the characters, and show them at both their best and their worst.
and 2nd mary shelly overdrive ...that mini was awesome. :)

Give me a smart Sabretooth, more "Hannibal Lecter", and less "rabid dog", and I'd be interested. He's not stupid, he's just been Flanderized that way.
Maybe it's because her "sexiness" doesn't do anything for me, but I consider Mystique to be the more boring of the two, at least as she is today. This pretty much is the extent of her appearances outside her solo since 2001 or so:
"Hay guiz, Im on ur teem nao! WHOOPS lol how bout taht I stabed u in teh bak!1!!! lmao!1!"
If I wanted that, I'd watch Starscream in the original Transformers cartoon. A character can only backstab people so many times before it becomes apparent that they don't care about or believe in anything, which makes me not care about what happens to them.
Mystique CAN be cool, ruthless, and take-no-crud, but only when she's actually committed to something. She hasn't had any serious drive for the better part of a decade that I've read; it's all been shadows and deception, which to me gets old really fast.
Out of all the X-Women, Mystique would have the best chance at an on-going.
What is this, Horseville? Because I'm surrounded by naysayers.
Make it AoA Sabretooth and I'll consider it. 616 Sabretooth just uuuugh.
A mini with a climax that'll deviate from the steady beat of mass murder would do it. A story from the inside out - Mary Shelley - so Sabes approach is more then just a creep with a taunting barb. A dilemma that forces a certain amount of moral strange on em would pull the depth and depravity of their natures through intriguing territory.

Is it a max-title soley focused on perverted, deviant sex acts between the two? Then yes.
Otherwise? Pass.
I fully support Quentin Quire for the office of Phoenix in 2012! Kid Omega and the Phoenix! Only together can they burn it! Burn it all!
I'd read a mini by Claremont about these two in his Corrections Universe. I am serious, too. These two are what made me enjoy that book.

Those are two of my least favorite people in X-comics, so for me it would be a 100% Nope.
Depends on when it takes place Pre-Graydon sure. Otherwise I want a Mystique solo.
I would give it a chance, but I would rather read a Mystique solo series. Once upon a time, she did have one and it was really good. Then Mystique had the homicidal maniac in her turned up to 11 and she's basically got no redeeming traits at this point. That doesn't mean she still couldn't make for an awesome solo series.![]()

X-men Supreme
I might read it. But like most books, it would be dependent on who was writing it and the concept.

I would agree with that 100% ESPECIALLY if we can get Sean McKeever or Brian K Vaughan back on writing duties!
I certainly think Mystique has enough depth to hold another solo title (I wouldn't mind never seeing Sabretooth again though, he could use a rest, or rather a longer rest!)
Cheers.
