Plus, the red-costumed Cyclops being the past him doesn't really fit. Why would he change, but not Past-Jean? And if it's because of his actions in AvX, why keep the name, and many of the design elements?

Unless he goes and brings them to the future for some reason; we really don't know HOW the 05 are getting here. But there's another conumdrum, if Cable eveals himself to his dad even earlier than he did before.
