It'll be interesting to see what Aaron's take on Thor will be; what changes he'll make, where Fraction will leave Thor at the end of his run, etc...

Part of me was honestly hoping Gillen would return... but I think Aaron makes an interesting choice given some of the stuff we saw in Ghost Rider.

Funny how Bendis is going to X-Men while Gillen and Aaron are going to solo Avenger books.

This is interesting. I wasn't expecting Aaron to take a crack at Thor. And Ribic on art!

I'll definitely check this out. Aaron's writing isn't always consistent, but with the exception of Incredible Hulk it's rarely bad, and even that title has its fans. His Wolverine, PunisherMAX, Ghost Rider, Black Panther and Wolverine and the X-Men were all awesome.

I wish Aaron luck, as I think Thor would be hard to write. Perhaps the hardest of the solo Avengers books.

Guess I'm waiting for the "Incredible" teaser that is sure to be about the new team on Hulk (I hope the Waid rumors are true).

I've never read anything by Aaron (save his AvX issues) but I've heard good things (other than stuff about his current Hulk run). I'm pretty interested though.

Kinda makes me wonder what adjective they'll use for Cap.

I'm not a huge Thor fan. I don't mind him in a team book, but his solo book never clicked with me. That being said, I love Aaron and Ribic, so I'll at least give the first issue a shot.

Hah, the other day i was thinking, we've been hearing rumors for pretty much every big creator and character/book, exepct for Aaron and Thor.

Anyway, i'm a big fan of Aaron's writing, his Wolverine and the X-Men is currently my favorite book, so i'm definitely in, at least for the first arc.

While i also really like Thor, i've got to say, i'm not quite sure if Aaron's a good fit for the character. But i'm very much willing to let him surprise me. I mean, it can hardly be more uninteresting than what Fraction did, which didn't click with me at all.

On a side note, with all the titles Aaron has been giving up recently, PunisherMAX, Scalped, Hulk, i'm wondering if he'll be taking on another MarvelNOW book or is just going for lighter schedule.

I can absolutely see Aaron as a fit. In particular, I hope he has a heavy emphasis on the Warriors Three (Likely considering the films). I imagine he'll probably do a phenomenal job on them.

    Ribic- I endorse 100%

Aaron- I will wait and see. His Hulk run started off strongly but petered out. He's still one of the best in the business though.

As someone who thinks Aaron's run on Incredible Hulk pretty much sucks, I'd LOVE it if Mark Waid took over the title. Call me crazy, but I think Matt Fraction could do well on the book, too. But Waid would definitely be must-read material.
