I'm sure you don't mean it the way I'm thinking of it, but one debut -- with the caveats mentioned above (like hurrying along the next inevitable reboot) -- I would love to see in the new DCU would be something, anything, less "badass." Don't get me wrong--I love titles like Wolverine, Conan, etc., but it's beginning to feel like having, say, curry powder added to every single dish at the table. One can like curry without wanting every dish to taste like it.

Um, except they are. I've been reading GL since 2004. The only thing that's different between Pre-Flashpoint GL and New 52 GL is the numbering. Even the history is still intact.

Having read several incarnations of Wonder Woman in Justice League and in some of her own title, i can tell you that she's pretty much the same as well. The core of her character is still there. She's still a badass, still compassionate, and still devoted to maintaining harmony. It's only the environment around her that's changed and I'm so sick of ppl equating environment with actual character.

Just curious, but have you even read any of the New 52? Cuz u don't sound like you have
