Pull-list: Action Comics, Batman, The Flash, Superman, Superman Unchained, Batman/Superman
Artemis Crock and Cameron Mahkent would be nice to see again. Geoff Johns has already mentioned plans to bring back Stargirl in some way, can't wait for that.
I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned these guys:
- Red Tornado
- Wildcat
- Dr. Fate
- Plastique
- Despero
- Ultra-Humanite
And would you look at that. Some people are using thread as another excuse to bitch about the New 52...Why am I not surprised?...
Wildcat and Dr Fate have already been mentioned/alluded to in Earth 2. Their returns are already plotted out. Ultra-Humanite would be good to see again now that you mention it. I'd like to have him/her on Earth 2 like back in the old days, but only time will tell if that character fits in with what Robinson's doing there.
I'm waiting for the arrival of Raven in Teen Titans! There is no other DC Comics persona after Superman and Robin that I get more excited for than Raven. I'm also very excited for Amethyst as I'm really looking forward to getting to see what she is like.
Zauriel
Aztek
Wally West
Cassandra Cain (I'll take her as "The Black Bat," just bring her back)
Rip Hunter
Adam Strange
Captain Comet
L.E.G.I.O.N./R.E.B.E.L.S.
Elongated Man and Sue
Besides the obvious (Wally West, Cassandra Cain, Stephanie Brown) one person I would love to see again is Thaddeus Thawne a.k.a. Inertia.
....I probably just lost most of you.
Basically, Inertia was the dark counterpart to Bart Allen a.k.a. Impulse. When he was first introduced, he was meant to replace Bart, but over his time with mentor Max Mercury, he realized how hollow his existence was. He disappeared in order to make his own way. Here was me hoping that he'd become an Anti-Villain and through some character development and interactions with Bart and Max he'd become a better person and hell, maybe even do a Heel Face Turn.
...Then The Flash: Fastest Man Alive happened, wiping out his sympathetic traits. (I still consider it one of the worst comics DC has made in the last ten years).
...Then Rogues Revenge happened and made him a literal baby killer before killing him off....
Judging from the glimpses of Bart's past, he's still from the future, so maybe Inertia will get a second chance.
But I really doubt it, because multi-layered villains are for losers.![]()
I have more.
Geo-Force
Fearsome Five (Mammoth, Shimmer, Gizmo, Psimon, Jinx)
Dr. Light
Dr. Destiny
Psycho Pirate
Ambush Bug
Eclipso?
I basically want a retelling of some the Justice League's most famous stories, but in the context of the New 52
I am looking forward to Aqualad, Tempest (I don't see why they couldn't co-exist), Ms. Martian (one panel just isn't enough!) and Roy Harper (I don't recognise the guy in RED HOOD AND THE OUTLAWS! He's not any version of Roy I know!)
That's beyond the obvious of Wally and Donna (one day Didio will take the hint!)
Cheers.
James.
Any Dream worth Having Is A Dream worth Fighting For.
I could go for another Captain Comet/Rip Hunter/Adam Strange contained in 1 book arc.I don't think these characters are strong enough on their own to warrant separate titles.Maybe in another Weird Worlds/My Greatest Adventure format.Anybody here know of any Helix era characters that would fit the bill?
CYCLONE but only if she doesnt wear bottoms as alex ross drew her here
