Comic Books are fun, Comic Book fans not so much.
Everyone and their grandmas have blogs so I said, what the hell: http://comicobsessed.blogspot.com/
This was once again an amazing issue Earth 2 has really skyrocketed to become one of my top 5 favorite comics. I enjoy that Jay really does not understand how to use his powers at the moment and Hawkgirl made him focus on saving civilians because he would have ended up hurting himself trying to fight Grundy. Hawkgirl was also amazing I like her gun/crossbow action and I am really interested in her backstory as of now we know she has hinted at interactions with Doctor Fate and this issue reveals that she and the Atom have a history. The Atom was also cool I was hoping he would go by Atom Smasher to help differentiate from the Prime Earth version but its cool. I am really getting interested in the World Army Council they appear to be either the Earth 2 version of ARGUS are just the worlds united military force witch is nice if the countries of the world came together after the Apocalypse war.
At any rate, this was an awesome issue. I really loved how Jay's personality shined here, the "Wait, actually it could be me..." moment really illustrated both his naivete and his quirky sense of humor.
Man, I love this book's art so much!! Atom's costume design and powers look awesome; kind of a mix of Atom, Atom Smasher, and Damage.
When did Hawkgirl hint at Dr. Fate?
Great issue as always though.
Pull-list: Action Comics, Batman, Superior Spider-Man, The Flash, Superman, Batman/Superman, Superman/WW, Superman Unchained, Earth-2, Harley Quinn, Astro City, Detective Comics, Fantastic Four, FF
did this come out today ? I have a hard time keeping up when stuff comes out
I've only seen the preivew, but I really like Atom or Atom Smasher's new design. Art looks great too!
Looks like I've been missing out by not reading this.
Animal Man, Swamp Thing, Constantine, Earth-2, Suicide Squad, Phantom Stranger, Forever Evil, Rogues Rebellion, Arkham War, ARGUS, Iron Man & Unity. Trades: Saga, East of West & Lazarus.
This was easily up there as the funnest book I read this month. Nicola makes most of the characters look wonderful, and Robinson is really giving strong identities for the primary cast. I'm a little disappointed knowing the #0 issue will interupt the arc. Then again it should be a fun intermission.
Edit: now realize Pansica helped out and want to add big kudos for a mostly seamless mix between the two.

The dialogue is still sticking out like a sore thumb. The extended conversations Hawkgirl and Flash had during the Grundy confrontation felt so odd.
