You know, support it, don't support it, my stance is my own. I just want to know for a nation that holds "FAMILY VALUES" in such high regards why in the hell is the divorce rate so high? Of several couples that got married the same time my wife and I did, we are the only one's still married. If gays/lesbians can't ruin the sanctity of marriage why can straights?

Divorce has nothing whatsoever to do with family values.

I don't really get the praise of Chik-Fil-A's food. It's little different from Wendy's... McD's... etc. I wish more places had waffle-style fries, instead of strings, though.

I never really made it a point to eat there anyway. I think the last time was 15 or so years ago.

Well, again, not really so secret. Chick-Fil-A's policy of supporting gay hate has been known for a long time, and as such, the chain has been on the list of "places people with any respect for human dignity will never eat at" for years now.

The CEO making openly bigoted statements in public was still a pretty idiotic move, though, because it made it so people who don't stay informed regarding such matters or who have buried their heads in the sand - including politicians in many places - couldn't just ignore the hate any more.

I wanted to cast aside this controversy as pointless, but when church people started lining up at Chick-fil-A in the name of Christ, I started to get pissed off. This phenomenon was a big deal in the South. My disgust reached its highest level when I saw the sign of a church near my home that said "We support Chick-fil-A. Eat mor chikin." I can only imagine how Jesus, if he were alive and in my area, would have destroyed that sign.

This ignorant, business-minded approach hasn't done Christianity as a whole any favors. Why can't people organize to do something like, I don't know, help those in need?

If someone is in need, they should just pray for prosperity. Their poverty is evidence of their moral weakness.

Plus, God hates fags, you know.
