Independent comicbook, " Opium? "

Next september you'll discover the first episode of « Opium ? » (an independant 12 issues comicbook launch on Ipad, Kindle, and such).
Until then, we decided to create a thread to present you the comicbook and its universe.

Let's start with a synopsis, and a full page.


Synopsis

Ever since the beginning of his career as an astrophysicist, Ceasar Wain put his knowledge to good use to make the world perfect. He considers that the only way to live honestly is to live by the christian rules and values. In 2010, after years of research, Doctor Wain announced to the world that he proved the existence of Heaven, and determined its location. He naively thought his discovery would help him in his fight for Good. One year after its publication, his work didn't have the dimension he wished, and didn't initiate the changes he deemed essential. Wain expected mass awareness, but the consequences of his discovery were religious fights, natural disasters and popular paranoia.

The already fragile balance of the world goes to pieces, and Wain's universe with it. His life falls apart in front of his eyes, and he assists, powerless, to the fall of what he has devoted his life to.

Every kid in the world, at some point, decides that when he grows up, he will have a cool job. Depending on the kid, it's gonna be : pirate (Jack Sparrow didnt help), surfer, firefighter, Gandalf, Santaclaus, Lara Croft...
