I think no way in hell this was going to turn out well.

Or all those injuries have happened in the eight days between #7 and #8.

It's probably a reason why all of those people are going to remain behind while the rest of the Avengers storm Limbo to rescue the others.

Since they're not taking Wanda, they'll probably be doomed.

Well, I'm not sure he's frankly focusing enough on fixing the worlds problems because that San Andreas fault thing doesn't necessarily sound like a good idea.

But that aside, yeah... I think Cyclops for the most part has been able to keep himself emotionally detatched from what was happening, and that is likely helping him to resist going nuts.

Colossus seemed pretty reasonsably until the whole date fiasco with Kitty... then he lost it. It'll probably take something like that to send Scott over the deep end... perhaps something with Hope.

Emma to her credit actually seems in control. And again, by in control I mean she's not doing anything so far she wouldn't normally do. Not that this is saying much.

yup moon jean is the best tie in...with this event we know why scott action are diffrent from other P5 , and what others P5 feel when they got the phoenix force

scott meeting with moon jean is an early wake up for him ...if it not happen he also will lose control ...it will be shame to this lovely tie in if he will also snap at the end

for colossus against spidey on AvX 9 maybe it will be like the infinity no 2 tie in , spidey will wake colossus and he will realize his action and give up the Phoenix Force and he will release the other Avengers

this will be make spidey as a hero ...we know it will be impossible to him head to head against colossus , besides what spidey best does is he have a good heart same as colossus (before juggernaut)

LOL. Brigg not strong enough to hold Hulk or Thor? X-men have Exodus in prison with ease and can apparently suppress powers as shown with Cage, Spiderwoman and Hawkeye (no powers or further evidence of the lifting car fiasco). Them holding Thor and Hulk shouldn't be a problem, especially with an Ultron level robot being the jailer that screw with jailbait minds on the daily. i just wish this was a bit more consistent.

I also wish to know why the real enemies like Doom aren't trying to grab this power for themselves like Sinister is attempting. Its not like its hard to lure these overconfident phoenixes into traps and siphon their power.

I would think if Colossus was going to have a wake up call, it would have been after he realized what he was doing in this weekss Wolverine and the X-Men issue.

But maybe Spidey can get through to him... he's pretty good teaching the whole "with great power comes great responsibility" thing. Considering Hope needed Spidey for her training, maybe all the Phoenixs from now on should go to him.

its perfectly comic accurate afterall. If we're to believe that a host's emotions are multiplied tenfold, then Colossus would get crazy angry when it comes to Kitty or someone he really loves. It'll easily be his undoing and i can't wait for Emma to exploit it.

I just wonder if the P4 took Namor with them or did they just leave him on the floor without a care in the world. I need to know just how much they really care about their own.

Doom is in a pocket dimension playing with his Infinity Gauntlet.

I'm waiting on this myself, for entirely biased reasons.

What a missed opportunity. Doom and Namor had a deal and it could've been realized here and now.

Then again Doom could still show up with Wanda's true power he stole from Children's Crusade.

Yeah, I'm kind of wondering about Namor too. That X over his picture was kinda funny.

My guess would be that they just left Namor. Since he's the one responsible for what happened, let the Wakandans deal with him him.

Plus, since Emma was sort of behind Namors attack, she might not want him linking that to her.

But that's just my guess.. we'll see.

I would guess they either surrendered him to Wakandan justice or they brought him back to Utopia -- but either way, he's out of the story now.

I actually asked about Doom possibly showing up in Breevorts Formpspring.

    He said no.

If I were Doom I'd have about twenty contingency plans in place and then I'd sit back and watch. No sense in attracting the Phoenix [Numeral]'s attention to Latveria. On the other hand, I doubt he'd shed tears if the Avengers all get killed over this.

If anyone can reach the P4, it would be Spidey. Especially since Emma, Piotr, & Illyana have already started to lose their humanity. So far Scott is the only one who's still holding on to his. Which is why I was looking forward to this issue. Especially if Peter & Scott discuss on what the P4 is doing considered responsibility as well as what's best for Hope, before it comes to blows.
