Why didn't he get his enchanted belt and gloves and some Asgardian armor to amp up? When he's already been chumped twice there's zero reason for him not to.

It's his turn to be the Incredibly Strong Character Beaten With Ease to Demonstrate How Powerful the Enemy Is. He could armor up, but he'd still lose. The writers have spoken.

I don't see why they have to scout in person with Doctor Strange on the team. Can't he use the sacred spring in K'un-Lun and look for them magically?

Theoreticaly one might have been able to beat Thor (especially now that they're all 5% or whatever more powerful), but the fact that the picture is showing 2 goes a long ways as far as not making it look quite as bad for Thor.

Or at least that's how I see it. I get why people feel bad about Thor losing all the time, but in that particular scene Thor didn't have a chance.

It's amusing to see how the Avengers have completely taken over the role of protagonists since the beginning of act 2. The only function of the P4 in this event right now is to provide an opponent for them to fight, while they themselves seem to have no urgent stakes or relatable motivations in this conflict any longer. If you're an X-Men without Phoenix powers (and aren't named Xavier) the best you can hope for is to take up panel space.

In MMO terms right now Thor is you wall. His job is to just take hits that others can't, because he's one of the only guys powerful enough to take the hits.

It's not the most glamous position to be in, but he's taking it for the team time and time again. There's no shame in that.

2 person handling him doesnt mean it need 2 person to beat him .. maybe they just like playing with him .

.just like red hulk on AvX facing Emma , Magneto , Magik and Cyclops ...its look like the X-Men doesnt break any sweat , they discuss what to do with him while fighting

and when the decision come huge blow to red hulk pride
