While all that is true, (and the guy whose face he burnt turn out to be a serial killer) dude has been trying change for a while and was instrumental in taking down the Skrulls' 'Plan B' within the Secret Invasion Avengers: The Initiative tie in, helped the take down Osborn's Thunderbolts from within, in Brubaker's first arc, saved all his comrades on Mars, helped out Hank Pym to save Golaith's digital soul in their mini and in Rememder's first arc risked (and lost not that they know) his life on a risky retcon mission where he had no backup. And that is just the stuff his teammates SHOULD know him for. His other personal issues really aren't stuff I think he would admit that easily, let alone something that should be brought up in dossier meeting and distributed to his teammates like no one else doesn't have skeletons in their closet. Do people bring up the millions in property damage done by the Hulk, Daredevil's activities while he ran the Hand, Wolverine's past or Tony and/or Carol's drinking problems that easily?
O'Grady was a guy who while a SHIELD agent was an admitted frequently to being a coward and a slacker desk jockey. O'Grady was on a slow road to redemption and while he was admittedly a little perverted, when the push came to shove, he would often try to do the right thing even when he hated doing it or knew that it would be a failure. Man was a hero, he wasn't Captain America, but this is Marvel peeking on women and occasionally acting like a immature frat boy early on is far from the worst things a hero has done that has been called an Avenger.
I'm not a big fan of Venom, especially in the role of hero. But I like Flash Thompson alright. And I definitely picked up on the subtle flirtation/attraction between him and Val leading up to this issue. I thought their almost getting it on together was organic in development and I kind of hope they end up an item.

Nightcrawler, Jean Grey, Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker, Professor X, Mar-Vell, Richard Rider- Bring Them Back!!!
Well, according to the new Remender interview Eric is dead and the one working with"Father" is an LMD.
Rick, why must you kill everybody?![]()
Nightcrawler, Jean Grey, Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker, Professor X, Mar-Vell, Richard Rider- Bring Them Back!!!
Another great issue. The cover was awful & very misleading (no Beast, nor Captain Britain at all- BTW: Marvel, when you do sh*t like this, it makes hate you). But, both the writing & and the artwork inside, made up for it. Can't wait to see what happens next!!!
there's still a sliver of hope. Remender's interview did mention a deal of some sort between the O'Grady-LMD and Father. if it was just a descendant, why would Father have to deal at all? i'm hoping that it's just the body that is artificial. but i guess we'll see when the Black Ant shows up. i'm holding out hope that Parvel's special descendant ability is something that will help Eric.
