That could be very interesting.
At least, it won't get the Jyuranger or Gatchaman treatment.
TO's design looks good, although 002 looks too young (and I can't get over the loss of his long nose)

Marvel: Avengers Arena, lol!
Classy as always, Marvel.
Very excited about this. I don't remember much of the original story, but I remember it being one of my favorites.
Uh...I don't know how to feel...they're so hot and attractive, even 006.
I'm going to miss the quirk of the original designs.

Is the 009 RE: Cyborg anime still coming out in October?

This sounds pretty interesting, I remember seeing this on Cartoon Network, I'll definitely keep my eye out for it.
So now they are muscle-y super-heroes and big-boobed bombshells? Come on, man. I guess I'm not against exploring the series' themes from a 21st century American perspective. Ishinomori's story was well ahead of its time in its use and criticism of the military-industrial complex, and it would be interesting to see if his ideas could be carried forward. But that art style just isn't doing it for me. To is a fine artist and I've enjoyed him a lot on other projects, but the style doesn't work for me here.
Hey, between This and 009 Re: Cyborg, it looks like we're in for quite the rennaisance.

Truthfully, aside from taking out some of the stock visuals from that era of anime, it doesn't look awful, feels weird since I am a fan of the original but it doesn't look terrible, I just hope they can keep to the maturity that made the source material so great.
Edit: Didn't know about 009 RE: Cyborg, a quick google search however has me liking Marcus To's update then the movie's. But I always thought 002 was a red head.

Don't know how to feel about it but I'll still give it a try because it 009 and 009 is one of the best mangas/character EVER created.
