I'm anticipating an "I'll always love you but I'm kinda into Fantomex right now even though I have no reason to be and he's just as dead but if you ever come back maybe we can work something out" type conversation to go with that art and it saddens me.

They can't reveal that stuff here. They will make a bigger deal out of it then X-Position. My biggest question is if he's aware that Shadow King slaughtered Destiny.

So much more interested in UXF than UA. I wish they'd put some renewed focus on this book and bring in some superstar artists like Steve McNiven or Jerome Opena (again). Tedesco and Noto are pretty good, but they need to generate some hype for this book again with some really hot art IMO.

I am very intrigued about the future of this book post 'Final Execution' and the big changes that are coming. It seems pretty obvious that Wolverine will leave to join the Uncanny Avengers, as I can't imagine he'll really be able to stay on both teams considering the changes in his character and outlook that Remender has said are coming out of both 'Final Execution' and 'AvX'.

Also this has me excited:

How long until we see the Clan Akkaba pop up in UXF again, specifically Pestilence, who last we saw was pregnant with the child of Archangel?

Those things all sound like huge stories that I am likely planning huge things with. Can't say anything other than that right now.

Assuming he is going to follow up on those things in UXF and not UA, that means Remender is staying on the book. It also makes it likely that Cable will join (or possibly lead) the team since he has such strong ties to Apocalypse. Now that Warren's gone they need someone else with the personal connection to En Sabah Nur and his followers.

My guess is that it'll eventually end (perhaps with one more arc following Final Execution), before relaunching as the Phoenix Five on the run. I'm not sure how Cable slots into that, but that all depends on how things end up for Hope after AvX.

The only thing I'm curious about is why Daken is saying things like "geek friends" and "straight dope". Did he go to gangsta heaven before coming back?

Glad to hear this book is at least going up to 35 issues. Rememder has been stellar on this title.

Fantastic Four, FF, Uncanny X-Men, X-Men Legacy, New Mutants, The Mighty Thor, The Invincible Iron Man, Captain America and The Incredible Hulk are ending.

Gillen ends the story line with Sinister and a next run/Gillen's story line will not start, they relaunch it as Uncanny Avengers or All-New X-Men.
