I'm betting it stays the street level team, still led by Cage but with a revamped lineup. I think by now New has built up enough brand recognition & acquired enough of a fan base that Marvel would want to keep it much the same.

With what is going on in Fantastic Four, I do think it is possible Black Panther might be in the Avengers mix. I got a feeling he will have some threads tie from one epic to the next.

I would love a youth-centric team, because I like a young cast, but I think such a team would use either the Young Avengers or the graduates from Avengers Academy, but I think Gage has implied that he'll be using the Avengers Academy kids elsewhere, and Wiccan will most likely appear in a different book if that Point One story is written by Gillen.

If Cage and crew aren't already international, then maybe it could be that? The cover for 33 suggests that Jessica Jones will die, so Cage might quit the team as a result.

I think it'll be just the same, or at least be a continuation of the roster. Predictable Marvel move.

On the other hand the cover with Jess and the solicits about the team rethinking their part in the team or whatever gives me the feeling they'll disband with some, if not all, moving onto the other teams.

Instead of this, why not just make Avengers a weekly series with a rotating cast?

I still think it is a focus on the newest members of the team as they establish themselves as Avengers. If the 18 are put in squads this could be one with the newbies and a couple of training members.

Because Hickman says that the Avengers will go beyond Earth. That it will become "Avengers Galaxy", then "Avengers Universe!".
That seems like a hint at RR joining. But I don't want him because, well, it's just another mascot thrown onto the team. I really don't want the "person who never has been an Avenger will become one" spot filled by him just to be a marketing ploy for the GotG movie.

Really? I hadn't read Hickman saying that. He actually said Galaxy then Universe? Wow.
