    Red face Warehouse 13

OK I see no-one else has started the discussion thread for the new season, so I thought I'd begin one. To make a long story short, Artie was able to turn back time and keep the warehouse from being destroyed, but at a cost: he has created some kind of unknown evil in the process! It may have something to do with Claudia: he dreamt of her stabbing him! Other good news (well, for me, anyway): HG is alive again! I always liked her, and I hated it when she went psycho and tried to destroy the world in some cockamamie plot to start civilization all over again. Hopefully, she will be restored to full agent status. I'd also like to see her Emily Lake persona emerge every now and then, maybe going so far as to become a separate personality in her mind. Also, I am a total Myka/HG shipper!!!: They totally love each other: I know it!

The only downer for me so far is the dark and broody Claudia. I know she's bummed cos she lost Jinxy, but she's the joy and the laughter of the show! I hope her 'ressurect Jinx' storyarc ends soon so we can have the old Claudia back. I also hope that this is the season where Lena gets a bit more of the spotlight. I would love to see her out in the field chasing down artifacts for an episode or two.

Just watched the episode (I DVRed it). I have to say, I'm glad they added the Pandora's Box angle to this episode for a reason to turn back time and save the Warehouse. Why? Because I wasn't entirely sure destroying a warehouse full of dangerous, unstable artifacts was a bad thing. I mean, I like the show and all, but sometimes my mind goes "wait, so they're stockpiling all this stuff and just waiting for someone to break into the warehouse and get it". And every season has some villian (or Claudia) who's able to break into the warehouse. Fun show, but I would really like a better, concrete reason why they're saving all this dangerous stuff.

They're rounding it all up to keep it out of "the wrong hands," aren't they? You wouldn't want some evil warlord or dictator to get their hands on some of that stuff.

I'm wondering what this "darkness" is that Artie released. I'm hoping it's not Claudia or anything(though it wouldn't make much sense if it was)

This is true, but all the artifacts in the world aren't accounted for. Where are they supposed to store the ones they haven't found yet? They'd just have to build another warehouse then. You might say they could just destroy every artifact they found..but a lot of artifacts could be used to help the world. I always figured the Warehouse was holding them until the world was ready for them. Of course they'd still keep the more dangerous ones locked away.

Yes. I suppose it's just that the Warehouse itself has a case of "Arkham Asylum syndrome". Basically, you know how villians are always breaking out of Arkham, making it seem like the place and its staff are rather ineffective at their stated purpose. Well, it's a similar thing with the Warehouse. Some villian always manages to break into the warehouse and get something by the end of the season. It really just doesn't feel like a safe place to keep this stuff. However, you take out all the times the warehouse is "compromised" and you lose one of the major sources of conflict and drama on the show.

Monday's episode featured the return of Agent Jinx! I was seriously surprised that Claudia was able to bring him back so easily. Artie also got a visit from "Commander Data"(the monk played by Brent Spiner), who told him that the only way to stop the evil he unleashed by reversing time with the magic doohickey was to undo what he did, which would leave the warehouse destroyed, HG, Pete, and Mrs. Fredricks dead, and the world without hope (due to Pandora's Box [*giggle*] being destroyed with the warehouse). Obviously, he's not going to do that, so there must be some other way to stop the evil force.

GAH, my eyes! There be spoilers in this thread!

I DVR'd this week's episode and haven't watched it yet.

I am so, so glad this show is back. I have missed it something awful. Warehouse 13 is a shining example of why I love TV.

I loved Pete's one-liners in the first episode. ("I like beavers, I'll take Canada" had me rolling.)

I'm with you guys on Emo Claudia, however. I'm hoping this storyline is relatively short, because I like my Claudia bright and spunky.

Whoops. I'd assumed it was safe to spoiler the episode since it aired ttwo days ago.

No worries. Warehouse 13 isn't the kind of show where spoilers are a big deal. I'm just slow about catching up on my TV shows. I've got two kids who run me ragged, so I don't get much opportunity to catch up, lol.

I'm both surprised and glad Steve was back and I'm also glad we didn't have to see a several episode story arc where he figures out how he was brought back. So he isn't just alive, but he's unkillable to a certain extent right?

So I'm thinking maybe the evil Artie unleashed wasn't Claudia, but something that made the six artifacts go missing. I don't know which artifacts, I'm just going off previews for new episodes where we see Artie mentioning six going missing. I'm guessing maybe one of them is a dagger that causes Claudia to try to kill Artie?

I was expecting Steve to be all like "This isn't right!" and forcing Claudia to make him dead again. I don't like the idea that (Rocky Banks, cover your eyes!) Claudia is dying a little at a time to keep Steve alive, either. I hope they show what HG is up to soon. I want her back at the Warehouse!

Really? I would have kicked the TV if he'd done that. Of course he'd rather be alive than dead, whatever his moral qualms about it are. Now, if it does get to the point where his continued existence directly threatens Claudia's life then that's different. But he doesn't know anything about the metronome having an effect on Claudia (assuming it even is) yet. All he knows is that he's not dead anymore. Most people would take that.

My bet is that the evil is in Artie himself and that the vision he keeps having is Claudia being forced to kill him to stop him from doing something heinous.

Any sane person would. I also thought that Jane put Claudia through that whole ressurection ordeal to teach her a lesson about letting go and moving on. I never expected him to still be alive by episode's end.

I wish "Commander Data" would stop being so vague about this mysterious evil and just tell Artie what it is! Or does he not really know either?

My guess is that he doesn't know the exact nature of the evil. Either that or he does know and he's sitting on the knowledge as part of some larger scheme.
