I still like the idea of Erica Pierce in the Solar role

I have been reading NuValiant and love where things are going, most especially that their chatacters are not like Marvel or DC! Love the concepts of X-O, Bloodshot and the Harbinger Foundation.

Though I agree that the Golden Key characters are not needed, I still feel that their roles are missing in this NuValiant Universe, at least Solar who was such a centeral element. I just finish reading Solar Alpha & Omega and #1-4, which are amazing and love the metaphysical themes, which is something I have not seen outside Watchmen's Dr. Manhattan or X-Men Jean Grey/Phoenix. I would love to read about Phil Seleski's story in NuValiant but that doesn't mean they need the rights for Solar at all. Seleski's story can still be done with a different alter ego and costume. I don't see why they couldn't come up with a new fictional comic hero for him to base off his look.

I also second the idea of Erica Pierce to take his role in NuValiant as it would give it a strong solo female book.

What a wild solution... valiant could call him "Alpha" Erica could be "Omega". Very bad ass.
Pure archetype definer... superman, sentry, phoenix, void.

    We be getting quantum yo.

I had forgotten Valiant can still use Phil Seleski, as well, though every time I have read about someone asking at a panel they say they don't have any plans to revisit any of the Solar characters at all...at least for now.

I like the Alpha and Omega idea. That could even be the title of the series (It also happens to be the name for the first new Harbinger arc).
VALIANT, Saga, Manhattan Projects, Locke & Key, Hawkeye, Young Avengers.
