Honestly, I have no idea either. Going off what Marvel has been doing lately, my guess is these will be $3.99 titles.

Although Marvel could surprise me, and I admit I won't know for sure until they announce it. I will say that the double-shipping of these titles would be an easier pill to swallow if they were $2.99.

"Twice a month" and a slew of artists...the storytelling consistency would be my only real concern...(I am prepared to drop/forego another Marvel title to accommodate the 3.99 price).

This is my only concern. Shipping 2 times a month ensures plenty of craptacular fill in artists who work for cheap, which is why their art sucks. This ruins Marvel's comics when they do the 2 times a month crap with cheap fill in artists. But I'm still buying the first arc drawn by the awesome Jerome Opena no matter what.

The Avengers dealing with big threats while having a diverse roster sounds like a dream. I like what I'm reading overall.

God, I hope so.

This alone fills me with so much confidence. No more endless dinner scenes it seems. I also liked that he gets that Avengers is about the secondary characters, and not a parade of A-listers. Too bad he still has to deal with impositions of the business execs, such as the movie cast. So far, I'm feeling very postive about Hickman's run. Twice a month, 63 issues leaves us with a less than 3 years run. Not bad.

I wish they didn't put all the movie characters in this team. Avengers Assemble becomes even more redundant.

I imagine it will get the axe or be completely retooled.

I was thinking the same, until we got the point one teaser that had Gillen writing what looks like a teen book with Wiccan and Kid Loki. While the point one things dont automatically mean they'll actually do something with those characters, nor would it mean that Wiccan (a character who would surely have to appear in a teen Avengers book considering his connections), it got me thinking. Plus, Hickman does seem to be talking more and more in the interview about world threats, which just made me think.

Still, be in International or Teen, I'd be all over either, or both.

Since they are dropping alot of titles with the relaunch, I can probably replace it with one of the Avengers titles. And I'm also get less of the new DC titles that I used to. So I maybe able to squeeze a title in without adding to my overall costs.

With the new Captain Marvel, I am picking up four Marvel titles so I was hoping to add more once the new titles are officially solicited. I am loathe to drop any of my current DC titles as I am enjoying them all.

I kind of hope you're right about that; i'd rather see an intertantional Avengers book, than another "Young Avengers" book.

This sounds intriguing, and Hickman is usually a must-buy for me based on name alone. However, and I'm not looking to hijack this thread for discussion on this topic, the double shipping is a deal breaker for me. I simply don't have another $8 a month to spend when I'm already pulling 20+ titles a month. Had this title followed a regular shipping schedule, I might have been able to find room for this.

It's a shame, because I love what Hickman is planning on doing with the Avengers, it sounds like it's right up my alley. I will however be trade-waiting this, if I read it at all.

Get it through Marvel subscription for around 1/2 off.

I still have this idea that they will make Avengers Assemble a sort of JLA Classified book, with a rotating all-star creative team telling stories of different line-ups picked up throughout Avengers history. Sort of like Slott doing another go around on his Mighty line-up, maybe Gage and Epting tackling another adventure of the bomber jackets gang, Stern tackling Bendis' Dark Reign team and so on...

I do prefer the other premise of a band of International heroes operating outside the USA.
