I agree with all those but I would also add Frank Quitely to the Action list.

Greg Capullo for the obscurity and different taste on Superman.

I'd love to see Eric Jones (Danger Club), Ryan Ottley (Invincible), Edwin Huang with colorist Misty Coats (Skullkickers), Paul Pope (100%), Nathan Fox (Haunt), Sean Murphy (Punk Rock Jesus) and Alvin Lee (Street Fighter). I know a few of them haven't tackled straight-up superheroics but that's part of the fun! Superman's been played pretty conventional artwise the last 50 years or so. I can just imagine some of the more gruesome takes on Bizarro, Brainiac, and even guys like Toyman and Parasite.

Andrea Devito. Because Annihilation, Nova, and Wolverine: First Class were all awesome. On Superman, preferably, but I can see the style fitting with Action Comics in a way.
