    Huh.

Well, I guess people aren't really all that interested in Starlord or the GoG after all. Lot's of shock and bluster from a few devoted fans, it would seem...

I'm interested tho'. Especially since it looks like the pic is done by Jae Lee. Could he be Bendis new artist on cosmic?? Would make for some interesting visuals.

I guess I'm in the mood for something new. I'm thinking Cable, Ant-Man and that Teen looking book may be something I could add to the pull list. Maybe GotG, too. Let's hope this is fun.

Psst. That's because there was already another topic about this.

Actually all the art in this teaser looks like it is by Adi Granov, including the art on the folders.

I wasn't expecting Star Lord to be the last reveal, but I'm super excited that he is. I can't wait to see what they have planned for him.

I'm getting the teen book as long as it's 2.99. Looks like a fun book.

I'm open to anything from the Marvel NOW initiative that interests me AND is $2.99 or less. I made a personal vow that $3.99 is too much for a comic book and I really can't see anything out there that will change my mind. Especially with all the quality stuff the indies are putting out lately.
I Dig: Hawkeye, Hank Pym, Squirrel Girl, Moon Knight, Songbird, Wiccan, Pixie, the Underbolts and Avengers Academy (RIP Stature)

Honestly, I'd actually accept $3.99 at thsi point if the book isn't double-shipped to hell and self-covered. Seriously, this week's $3.99 releases having self-covers was kind of shameful.

I'm all for cosmic, i've just been thoroughly underwhelmed so far.

    I'll muster a half-assed "wheeeee" for Starlord.

I'm definitely excited for GotG and Nova but I agree with the $2.99 price cutoff. I read everything on the iPad now and I'm buying way more new DC than Marvel because the price drops a dollar after four weeks of release. The only $3.99 book I buy monthly is Batman but I wait for it to drop to $2.99.

All 18 issues of GotG were on sale for 99 cents this past Monday and I snatched them up.

Oh good! I've got to admit, I don't know as much as I would like to about Star Lord.

I actually thought the last teaser would be Rocket Raccoon, but this is basically the same thing. Always fun to see some Guardians love. I'm guessing Bendis writes the Fury parts and the Star Lord story.

    Jeph Loeb on Nova,

    Fraction on Ant Man?

    Hopeless on Cable

    Gillen on Loki

Hey, I'm usually pretty thorough in my Marvel reading, but I have no idea how Starlord (and Thanos, and presumably Nova) are back from the Cancerverse where they met their "demise" at the end of Thanos Imperative. The portal closed and there was a lovely memorial service and a statue for Quill and Rich Rider. And now Starlord and Thanos are bouncing around in Avengers Assemble and hanging with the GotG. Did I miss something?
I believe all that needs to be said has been. So here’s my two cents.”-- ScottMC, inadvertently summing up the Internet.

It hasn't been explained yet. It's something of a mystery.

It most likely has to do with the origin for the new Nova that we haven't been told yet. Presumably all will be told in the upcoming brand-new Nova #1, and Bendis last issue of Avengers Assemble.
