While it sucks he left Legacy (his runs qualifies as one of my top 5 X-Men runs ever), I more than understand his desire to pursue his own creative work.Ultimate, Carey left "X-Men" because he couldn't handle doing monthly comics and still write novels. "Something had to give, and it was a toss-up between 'X-Men' and 'The Unwritten.'" However, he did say he would love to do a sequel someday to "Age of X."
When you want to do your "Age of X" sequel, I'll be the first one in line to get it.
He quit X-Men: Legacy?? I thought he was forced off the book...
Ugh, couldn't he have at least explained the Chamber situation first?? I mean, a one or two throwaway line by Dr. Rao would've been fine with me, just SOMETHING.
