teen titans #11 preview

Now that the Culling is over I'm finding TT to be enjoyable again. Bart, Kiran and Miguel's banter was the highlight of the issue for me and I like that the team was having a bit of downtime as well. I'm even starting to like Tim again now that he's not trying to be his mentor. I only have one minor nitpick: I wish that Booth would change up the look of side characters. The girl with Kon looked a bit to much like Cassie.

I was under the impression that was the point, though-- he went out with the girl BECAUSE she looked so much like Cassie.

Not sure if that was the point there but it isn't the first time in TT that Booth has drawn one character looking like another, which is where my nitpick comes from. At times Kon has looked a bit like Tim just with a different hairstyle as well.

booth used to draw kons hair different than silva did,but now they have the same hair style.for him starting in 11.

aslong as kon has that red energy stuff coming from the top of his head,we will tell kon and tim apart lol.

If you drain colors, remove hair and facial features (like eyes and such) I think we would arrive at the same face regardless if it had once been Cassandra, Tim or Bunker. Since Booth is a speedy artist, it's probably just one of the tricks he has to minimize his work.

Okay issue that started out promisingly enough, but it just seemed to fall away somehow.

And I didn't notice that the dialogue was particularly bland, so that probably means it was indeed Lobdell and not DeFalco scripting.
