Apparently it was a couple of days away from shooting before it was cancelled.

...And does Mr. Goddanm Batman says so much as ''Thanks''? OF COURSE not. That'd hardly be GRIM AND GRITTY, would it?

Oh wow, yeah, Fincher could make a killer Batman detective movie.

i love Fincher but his sensibilities are not that far away from Nolan's. i prefer someone like Del Toro.

Default I loved Nolan's trilogy, but I hope the next reboot is less realistic.

I loved Nolan's take on Batman, but I think the next series of movies could benefit from being less realistic and focus a bit more on the fantastical elements, without getting cheesy. For instance, Mr. Freeze deserves to be done right. I also wouldn't mind seeing a well done Robin. Maybe Damian could make an interesting addition. Speaking of him, I think the kid who plays Joffery in Game of Thrones would be great for Damian. I just think that while the realistic style was really good and nice breath of fresh air, it does limit you in some ways. What would you all like to see for the inevitable reboot?

I just want a proper Robin... But I love that character. Dick, Tim, Jason, Damian... don't care.
Libaax: (Grant Morrison) is so fresh, a god of superhero comics and (you should) worship his world of Batman.

Dick would be the natural choice simply because he was the first. I just think Damian would be interesting because of the father/son aspect. It might be neat to have an older teenage Dick in the first movie and at the end we see him "graduate" into Nightwing.

Mr Freeze's scenes were cut in the Dark Knight rises.

Last act occurred in June to give you an idea of how much was removed.

Me too. Let Bane be huge. Let the Joker be all white. Let there be Harley. Let Ra's al Ghul be Egyptian-and his name pronounced correctly (not to do with realism, but it had to be said.) Let the Scarecrow look like a scarecrow. Let the Riddler in (but not in a onesie). No armor, no throat cancer. No gliding cape. Grappling hooks all the way. No Cockney Alfred. No "Lucius build me everything." Let Bruce be the genius that he is. And at very last LET THERE BE ROBIN. (Dick or Tim- no Damian)
Nightcrawler, Jean Grey, Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker, Professor X, Mar-Vell, Richard Rider- Bring Them Back!!!

I don't mind the armored look that much, since it is used in the comics, but I wouldn't be opposed to them going a different way with it, but I agree with pretty much all of your other ideas. I also wouldn't mind seeing Killer Croc, but I'm afraid he might run the risk of coming across too much like the Lizard in the audience's eyes.

I didn't even know he was supposed to be in it. I really hope they release a director's cut.
