Or maybe there's such a thing as alternate timelines in the MU and Cable got his wires crossed. And if we are no longer acknowledging divergent timelines then Bishop and Cable are just two knuckleheads who have no understanding of the butterfly effect. It's not like they go back and change just one moment in time. They go back and loiter for YEARS. It makes zero sense for their pasts to ever align with the MU present.

Cain would show up now and then to rob a bank, break something or mess with Chuck. Then he'd get outsmarted, defeated and go home. Colossus fights shit all the time and never gives up.
Ehh i dunno. Cain always seemed much more violent and eager to cause destruction than Colossus. He loved what he did.

It was written by Loeb. He's probably either completely ignorant to the different timeline things or just didn't care.

Still, Cable has visited a shitload of futures. Its not unreasonable to think that some aspects of some futures would come to pass in Earth-616.

I have a feeling that a new Guardians of the Galaxy will be part pf Marvel NOW, and they'll want a member of the Avengers to be on that team. He's one of the characters you can get away with sending off to space. Plus it works in story terms too, the Guardians could use a military mind. The DnA series had them falling into missions ass-backwards a lot.

The reason I'm highly skeptical about Ross dying is that realistically, only three characters would actually give a damn that he died - Betty, Annie and Aaron.

And why do you omitt to read the posts. It doesn't matter if the Red Hulk book is well written. Because it's Red Hulk. Remember when Alan Moore wrote that Spawn villain the clown mini-series?

I agree, Cain did enjoy his role more than Petey. But...there is a huge difference between the power Cytorrak bestowed upon Colossus (and Cytorrak even mentioned this in UX15) and the old Juggernaut. The reason we've seen Petey go into demon mode and become stronger than any prior avatar is because Cytorrak likes/enjoys him so much. Does it make sense...? Meh...I dunno, but Kieron Gillen wrote it and that's the only thing we have to base our opinion(s) on thus far.

On a side note, as much as I would love to see Colossus rip Rulk to shreds, the current word on the street is that Colossus will be the one to die in AvX11. I hope that is wrong though.

    Wow, so much hate.

People really need to stop thinking about Red Hulk as written by Loeb or Bendis and see the wonders Parker has done with the character and the fun stories. Only way Red Hulk/General Ross should die is in a tale written by the best writer to use the character, Jeff Parker. But since he is set to appear Hulk and the Agents of Smash and Marvel is a slave to crossmedia promotion, I seriously doubt that they will kill the character off.

Probably move him off the stage for a bit but Red Hulk is like a meme, once it is out there, you can't stop it by taking down the source. He will probably be in one of the Avengers books by Hickman.

The entire concept of Red Hulk was done much better by DC in the JLU cartoon.

While that maybe have been some inspiration fo how Loeb set him up, the current Red Hulk has grown beyond the origin and acts closer in comparison to a more military version of Grey Hulk with a different color and attached to another character.

Why some people think that having more then one Hulk is a problem when this is far from the first time its been done is strange to me.
