Thanos vs The Xeelee

Thanos the Mad Titan ends up in the Xeeleeverse with the goal of stopping the Xeelee from fleeing the universe.

Can he do it?

I want to say yes. Main problem is that Thanos doesn't know his way around the Xeleeverse, and there aren't any good cosmic mcguffins for him to use like he normally would. He'd probably just need to wreck that loop of cosmic string they were using as a gate, though. I don't think we were ever given an estimate on how long it took them to make the thing, so if they don't have time to make another before the birds win the war, that would do it.

Of course, the problem is he'd have to wreck it before even a single Xeelee could get through and time-travel back to warn everyone. I'm not sure if he's going to have the resources to do it.
