And now that PostMaster gave the "clone idea"...It just feels wrong. Would Thor really do such a thing? It would make sense how he ended up in France. And then Loki would have known about Doom's plan, so maybe he helped the clone escape? And which would give Ikol added purpose, I guess.

But really, what a truly horrible idea. And you all must understand I've had a very depressing day anyways, so this all just feels like icing on the cake. Not a bad day, but a very, very depressing day...And poor Loki. What did this little kid ever do to deserve this?
The dialogue implied Loki had an idea what was going to happen and Leah clearly did, which in some ways made it feel less like a Fridge moment I think.

Who is to say that Thor did anything? He found some kid who was Loki reborn in a manner similar to all the other Asgardians. I wonder if it would truly change anything though since he'd still be Loki no matter what. Also note that the clones Doom had all looked like Frost Giants, but then I've never gotten whether Loki always had some sort of glamour up or what.

The universe hates Loki no matter what incarnation he is. I can only hope for some nice moment between him and Thor. Maybe they can go for milkshakes.

It's been shown that Loki was making himself look more blue to his Frost Giant parents, then changed back when he was alone. A clone may have changed shape without thinking, just on instinct.

This all, of course, kinda gets back at what makes a god and all that, and what the hell Loki is...

did anyone else have printing issues with this?

Several pages of my issue seem to be washed out to the point of illegibility. These would be pages 10, 13, and the bottom half of page 14.

JiM is my favorite Marvel book, and Top 3 Overall. I think I was in shock when I read the end of the issue with Leah. Then I sided with Bolin (see first post). I remember Kieron saying this book had a definite arc when it started, though I thought this book was gonna last like 40 issues! Not including tie-ins and .1's, we are going to be at 20 issues next issue.

God, these next few months will be heartbreaking.
Well what were Loki and Leah but figments of old Loki and Hela his daughter? So what was the end of this going to be? I could only see them as being Hela's companion to her fathers strange de-aging, as a sort of emotion that is never expressed while they were adults. It's a touching thought that Gillen dredged up an emotional connection in this way between young Hela and young Loki.

A father and daughter sharing youth together - sort of like sharing parallel experiences of their childhood, but together, like some kind of dream.

There's a little part of me that hopes and dreams that Loki will find a way to return Leah, and to break the cycle and free them both. Thanks to the way the Marvel universe works, I know that somewhere this happens, and the two of them escape to Elysian fields, perhaps to grow old, but never to grow up.

There's little to add to what's already been said. Once again the week's best comic-and so heartbreaking it was...

I still have a hangover and a lump in my throat. Kieron, what the Hela did you do to Leah?!

...And now I'm crying again. That's a lovely sentiment and I will hold to it.

I really didn't see that ending coming.

Bad enough Loki's practically doomed but now he is alone on top of it.

I think Gillen has us in a bait and switch situation. He wanted us to think this series was about Thor and Loki's relationship, when really it's about Loki and Hela. It certainly seems now that maybe all Hela ever wanted from Loki was love and respect, for him to acknowledge her as being a success in her own right. If Leah was a part of Hela, then it shows a lot about Hela, considering that Leah felt some genuine connection with him.

Also, I've had a theory on Loki for a while...What if a piece of the Void embedded itself into Loki's soul? Like as a back-up for if it ever came back? And that's why he had the red eyes? It's the Void showing up?
