This was the end of Act 2 so its sets up Act 3 "There can only be one" and we see now
The P4 it'll most likely come down to a power struggle amongst them now since a new revelation was dawned on them.

i think that is still the phoenix objective. it wants to be with hope. remember that hope told cyclops she can hear phoenix whispering to her. and then coloussus said in this issue that when one of them falls, the phoenix returns to the rest.
i think the phoenix is just as trapped inside the phoenix five as they are trapped with the phoenix. which just reaffirms that they were never supposed to get it in the first place.
Charles is either gonna do two things:
- Wake up Cable
- literally shut down the P5 himself (since he did it to Jean Grey, I'm QUITE sure he'll have no problem shutting these fools down)
I do wish that the panel of Black Panther standing solo in the rubble of Wakanda like a boss was a little bigger, because that speaks volumes about his character. Thing and Namor's love/hate relationship leads to some of the most brutal scenes in comics, as this event has proved in spades.

I agree, and I also think it was meant to be (or could have been) a powerful silent moment in which Cyclops takes in the devastation that his plan has unexpectedly wrought...but it's undermined by how tiny and sloppy it is. Generally, this issue lacked a lot of the heavy drama it could have had given its events, IMO.
The injury to Red Hulk's arm was pretty gross. I thought by the way it was drawn that it had been ripped off, but I'm assuming that's not the case since no one else has mentioned it. :)
What's the status of Vision/Wanda's relationship now? Last interaction I recall, he was sort of angrily keeping her out of Avengers Mansion, but he was pretty quick to save her after her attack on Namor. Has anything else happened that I forgot about/missed, or is this the start of a change of heart for Vision?
I can't blame Charles. He did tried to reason to Scott about the Phoenix, now he's going to whatever to save the P4 from themselves. As for why 1/5th of the Phoenix Force left Namor, my guess is that it felt that he was weak link of the group.
I am most curious what Charles will do. Odds are he'll have the means to as this situation isn't as bad as the original Dark Phoenix situation yet. The first time Charles went toe-to-toe with the Phoenix it was the whole phoenix and it was completely out of control. He won, but only barely and only because Jean (or Jean's memory or whatever) was helping. None of these Phoenix's are at full power or completely out of control yet.
It is rather confusing why Cable has been absent so long. Last I checked wasn't he completely cured and just in a healing coma on Utopia? Couldn't one of the Phoenixes have woken him up by now?
cue the illuminati with the infinity gems? xavier's warning was rather ominous.
huh, that would be funny. magik never feared xavier's authority since he could never read her mind.
That is pretty much what I was thinking. The Illuminati are coming and if anything Earth's heroes have access to could stand against the Phoenix it would be the gems.
But I don't know all that much about the gems. Where's the gauntlet these days? And when brought together how do they compare to Phoenix in terms of power?
Seems like this whole issue was wacky; I couldn't really gauge Namor's true Phoenix power. He gets knocked down by the Iron Fist, Captain America's shield, Thing's fist, Thor's Mjolnir but was able to rip off Red Hulk's arm in an instant.
