Default Buffy, Faith, Spike & Angel Vs Cap, Hawkeye, Black Widow & Blonsky

    Team Buffyverse
    Buffy Summers
    Faith Lehanne
    Spike
    Angel
    Vs
    Team MCU
    Captain America
    Hawkeye
    Black Widow
    Emil Blonsky

    Blonsky is pre-Abomination, post-first upgrade.

    1) Bloodlusted in Khazan.
    2) In character, starting at opposite ends of a 100mX100m warehouse.
    3) 1 day of prep.

What is standard equipment here? Do Black Widow and Blonsky get their firearms and does Hawkeye get his entire quiver? Does the Scooby Gang get swords or any ranged weapons?

    Or is this straight h2h?

    Buffy - Scythe
    Faith - Sword
    Angel - Sword
    Spike - Sword

    Cap - Shield
    Hawkeye - Bow and Arrows
    Widow - Handgun
    Blonsky - Handgun

Makes it very difficult for the Buffyverse team in Khazan, though not impossible given the vamps, but I still made the other matches to make things a bit more equal.

The warehouse is a weapons warehouse, incidentally. Should really have specified that.

I don't think the Scooby Gang can win in Khazan (excluding comics feats). Faith and Buffy should get gunned down and while IIRC bullets can't kill Vamps I think they hurt, which should be all they need for Hawkeye to arrow stake them.

Warehouse assuming it is dark and mazelike would tilt to team vampire IMHO. Their senses negate Marvel's stealth wile the lack of heartbeat for Spike and ANgel really helps. I think team Buffy wins h2h with superior strength and only Cap and Blonsky in the same speed ballpark. The warehouse should allow it to get closequarters.

Prep? I don't know. I'd lean towards the side with crazy magic though

Would a wooden arrow count as a stake?

IIRC they were in the show. I think Holtz(sp?) from Angel loved this method.

Hard to say who has the strength advantage between movie Cap and Buffy and they both had some serious durability. Right after he got his powers, Cap was doing a bit of aim dodging and this was right out in the open, no cover to dive for. Add his shield as standard equipment and I think he has the edge.

In the arena, Faith is a pincushion before she ever reaches Hawkeye.

Spike beats the Black Widow. I don't see where she has anything that will take him out.

I'm very sketchy on Blonsky's precise feats at that stage so I'll give it to Angel to keep the sides even.

Spike vs. Cap I think depends on whether Cap can hit hard enough to knock him out. I think Spike takes it though it's debatable.

Angel vs. Hawkeye. Angel's an arrow catcher but it depends on how fast Hawkeye can fire. I don't remember movie Hawkeye firing so fast that someone would have to block multiple arrows all at once albeit there might be a very small pause between them. The odds certainly favor Hawkeye I think.

So it comes down to Spike and Hawkeye. I'd favor Hawkeye but then, I'm arguing as if these were a bunch of individual fights and he still has arrows left as opposed to the team fight it's supposed to be..

The only difference I see in character is that Buffy at least won't be fighting to kill and neither will Hawkeye. Not sure it changes the outcome. However, in character, Team Buffy, at least at certain times in the show, could function as a team. Blonsky isn't going to work well with the others in character which gives Team Buffy the edge.

I honestly don't see any of these people being prep masters in battle. Some of them are decent.

Okay with that stipulation, Buffy and Faith are out before the two groups even close to hand to hand from gun shots while Hawkeye opens up on Spike and Angel.

Widow's sting. Spike has been shown to be susceptible to being stunned by electrical charges before. Not saying it's guaranteed Widow would win but it's within the realm of plausibility.

I'd say BUffy has a strength edge on Cap. Didn't see move a ton or something on the show as a high end feat?

What crazy magic? I know there are a few stores in Sunnydale where you can go to buy certain magical things, but I'm not sure that would be allowed since it's not their items specifically. Other then that..do any of the characters really have many powerful magic items laying around? Unless they are being spotted the resources of Wolfram and Hart. Though technically speaking, the most recent version of Angel(not counting the comics) was one that had pissed the Senior Partners off to the point of sending various monsters after him..so I would think they wouldn't allow him access to their resources anymore.

A woman can move a lot faster with her skirt up than a man can with his pants down.

Don't recall any of Team Buffy having magical items as standard equipment and they very, very seldom fell back on magic items even when they had time to prepare (the four listed here I mean). It's possible but it doesn't seem likely.

I didn't even remember that. Did you use the Widow's Bite once in the movie?

It was used in Iron Man 2 not Avengers is probably the reason you don't recall it immediately
