    Default Spider-Man and Deadpool Team-Ups

I've always thought these two play off each other very well. The only elephant in the room is that Pete isn't going to let Wade get away, obviously; considers him a murderer (and rightly so).

But otherwise, the dialogue between them is always so classic. The stunts Deadpool does to prank Spider-Man are unbelievable.

I'd honestly rather more Spider-Man/Deadpool stories than, say, Spider-Man/Wolverine. It's just more offbeat and fun.

    I prefer it when Spider-Man doesn't team-up with murderers.

The big difference there is that while Wolverine has done some horrible things deep down he's really a nice guy, while Deadpool may have tried to do some good at various points, but he's a pretty horrible human being. It's just harder to work Spider-man into that mentality.

I don't buy into Spider-Man and Wolverine being friends at all. There's no internal logic to it, just the real world fact of them being Marvel's two most popular characters.

Imagine if Deadpool become Spider-Man's Son-In-Law if he marries Vanessa Carlysle(Spider-Man x Mystique's DNA used to create her from a future timeline)? This is provided that Vanessa has been reborn as a mutant highlord. Vanessa Carlysle would certainly be the glue that put Spider-Man and Deadpool together, along with Mystique.

And a lot of people here are bashing me when I feel that Spider-Man x Black Widow should have had a partnership a longtime ago.

Right, but keep in mind a story featuring Spiderman and Deadpool isn't likely going to have Peter saying, "Oh hey, you killed x number of people, but you did save my life in a very roundabout way before firing shots at me. I think I'll let you go."

But at the same time, it's still fun while they're working together, even knowing Spidey's going to try to bring him in, and 'pool will manage to get away somehow...so I don't think the fact that Wade's a murderer stops a story from happening, just limits it somewhat.

I'd rather see Deadpool team up with Amanda Von Doom.

Spider-Man and Wolverine need to hang out more. Needs more fist-bumping.
    Bad news everyone...

Pete, Logan, Johnny, and Wade all need a Hangover style story where they all wake up and can't remember what they did. They only remember it involves monkeys and lots of beer.

    Voted "maybe".

If Joe Kelly's involved, that becomes a "definitely".

I prefer the two fighting each other to teaming up, though I really didn't care to much to see spidey and deadpool teaming up in avenging spiderman. I've been hoping we get more stories like the opening red hulk and current captain marvel in avenging, these one off marvel team ups are killing me.

Also as far as Wolverine not fitting in with spidey because he kills people, its not a problem in his case. Wolverine is not like the Punisher where he just kills indiscriminately for any crime. X-Men and Avengers are both no kill teams and he works fine. He isn't the punisher where he is searching to kill every criminal.

I thought the wolverine story where wolverine invited spider-man to drink in a bar was a good story, he says something to the affect that Pete reminds him of what it means to be a good guy or something, and then reveals its his birthday.

I don't agree with whoever says wolverine is a nice guy, I don't think he is a nice guy. He has a heart but thats not a nice guy. Really hated the last time he killed mystique for example, it was outright murder, mystique betrayed the group after wolverine because of his relationship with Nightcrawler and Logan kills her. Yeah I get she played a big role in putting wolverine in the mess he was in, the killing rung hallow after it was revealed why mystique tried to help him. It really felt like they only reason he killed her was to set up mystiques current place in the world.

Well she did send him to hell and helped plan the murder of a bunch of his loved ones, she had it coming. just cause she had second thoughts doesn't mean she should be absolved
I'm so bored with this martyrdom routine, this halo all you X-men love to polish. Self-described soldiers adorned in an "X" with no dedication to what it actually stands for.

Dan Slott has said before, and I agree, that teaming up two "funny" characters doesn't make a story twice as funny. A funny guy needs to a straight guy to play off. Peanut putter and jelly. With two funny guys you just have jelly and jelly.

"Wolverine's okay, he only kills people occasionally." Does this ring true to Peter's character? Is that the person May and Ben Parker raised him to be? Again, I don't buy it for a second.
