Joseph Park is some of the best acting I've seen out of Abyss. Hell I'd put him over 90% of the WWE roster in terms of acting

if you say so, seems like the same old slapnuts to me. and just to be clear when i say "midcard" that's not meant as an insult(slapnuts is though).
i'm just really over slapnuts being a top heel in TNA let alone a big mystery reveal. imo it's vintage TNA anticlimax, and i'm not shitting on the dude or anything but i could easily go the rest of my life w/o seeing duke swallows on TV.
this is true, it just kind of sucks if those are the only choices. And, if the option is between guys who have been through WWE and guys like Alex Silva or what's his name that got beaten down before his gut-check match, I'm okay with former WWE wrestlers getting the shot. It's not as if they jumped on them as soon as their non-compete was up, they've got a story and a decent introduction. Can't ask for more than that.
i think it's pretty safe to say johnny holmes was the guy with the long hair.
that's not how it started.
while AJ/claire/daniels & abyss/park/bully things are good for a laugh here and there i think amount of fun is not equal to the time consumption. and to be 100% honest if russo was still around i don't think people would be as receptive to them.

Mr. Backlund continued wrestling under the new gimmick of an out of touch, yet highly dangerous, maniac out to teach the new generation a lesson.[3] He often appeared in business suits, had a hyperactive personality, and used (or, often, misused) large words to sound important. He also demanded that he be addressed as "Mr. Backlund". He would only sign autographs for wrestling fans if they could recite the names of all of the US Presidents in chronological order
Aces and 8s was around to much last night, it means more to have them make one giant impact than having them run in on every match, because when you do that it gets old.
I totaly understand why they did it, but it lacks punch when you do it too much.

Samoa Joe and Magnus are the new GHC Tag Team Champions for Japanese promotion Pro Wrestling Noah. They captured the belts Sunday in Tokyo from Akitoshi Saito and Jun Akiyama, ending their seventh-month reign.
Magnus wrote on Twitter, "New GHC/ Pro-Wrestling NOAH World Tag Team Champions… @SamoaJoe and yours truly. Ryogoku Sumo Hall Tokyo, it was an honor!"
Christopher Daniels also competed at the event, NOAH Great Voyage, losing to GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion Yoshinobu Kanemaru.
- The Miami Herald published an article acknowledging Chavo Guerrero's arrival to TNA Impact Wrestling this Thursday on Impact. With Chavo's arrival, two members of the legendary Guerrero family are now affiliated with TNA. Chavo is the nephew of TNA Spanish language broadcaster Hector Guerrero.
- Madison Rayne returns to TNA Impact Wrestling live events next weekend in Ohio and Pennsylvania as she challenges Miss Tessmacher for the TNA Women's Knockout Championship. She tweeted, "I'm rly glad to be heading back on the road next weekend for house shows in OH/PA!!!! @BrookeIMPACT is gonna be in MY backyard! #gonnabegood."

Speaking of Joe, I hope he wins the BFG Series. IMO he's playing it smart by relying on submissions and that is earning him the rep as the badass submission machine in this series

Velvet Sky has either finished or will be finishing up with TNA Wrestling shortly, according to numerous sources within the organization. One source noted Monday night that she is "as gone as can be without having pen to paper."
Her status with the organization has been tenuous for several weeks, although she's been in negotiations for a new contract. However, many believe she is on her way out of the company.
Sky last appeared for TNA at a BaseBrawl event in Memphis, Tennessee on July 14, which may end up being her final TNA appearance. She is presently booked for a Legends of the Ring convention in Monroe, New Jersey the same weekend that TNA holds its annual Bound for Glory festivities.
Sky is one of the most popular females in TNA and has been with the company since the advent of the Knockouts division in October 2007. A former Knockouts and Knockouts Tag Team Champion, she was recent cast in a Montgomery Gentry music video through the company.
Her former "Beautiful People" mate, Angelina Love, also recently left the promotion.
Speaking of Angelina Love, she will appear for Neo Wrestling Federation in Niagara Falls, Canada on Saturday, July 28th. The event will be held at Fight Club Canada, 4536 Portage Rd, Niagara Falls, Ontario and tickets cost $10and $20.
We reported last week that Mickie James did an appearance at a 2CW show last Friday, losing to Rachel Summerlyn. She hasn't appeared on TNA TV since losing to Miss Tessmacher on the June 21st episode of iMPACT!. James has been telling friends that she is frustrated with her current TNA status. Apparently, she is not the only one. We reported last week that more female talent changes within the ranks of major league wrestling could be in the works as two unnamed female wrestlers are rumored to have requested their releases from TNA Wrestling this week. The official Twitter feed of female independent women's wrestling promotion Women Superstars Uncensored wrote Thursday afternoon, "Hearing rumors two knockouts asked for their releases today...." The account added, "Getting calls from people at TNA tonite, a lot of contracts are expiring. TNA wants to put them on pay-per deals and kill weekly contracts for some. I haven't watched TNA since January 2010 but for people who do, if you don't see someone [on Impact Wrestling] tonight, keep it in the back of your head."
We also reported last night that ources within TNA Wrestling have confirmed that Bully Ray and Devon's respective contracts with the organization will expire in four to five weeks. Both wrestlers have been negotiating new contracts with management but no movement has been made towards agreements being reached.
Bully Ray underwent an incredible career resurgence after retooling his character following the split of Team 3D in late 2010. Likewise, Devon underwent a career rebirth following the split and now reigns as Television Champion. Both assist young talent, with Bully Ray working behind the scenes as an agent and Devon wrestling them at both television and house show events.
The Knockouts division (and indeed much of TNA's undercard) has usually not clicked since Hogan Bischoff came in. It's too often like watching the WWE's little brother, format wise.
Wish I still lived in New York. I would consider making the still pretty long trip. The opponent is apparently Allysin Kay. Would be nice to see.

As we noted earlier today here on the website, Velvet Sky could be leaving Total Nonstop Action Wrestling just as her former "Beautiful People" mate Angelina Love did. According to sources, the popular grappler is on the verge of parting ways with company due to a major contract dispute.
Bruce Prichard, who serves as Talent Relations for the organization, has reportedly asked numerous wrestlers to restructure their contracts. A company source says some talent who have time remaining on their deals are among those being asked to restructure, even if they're due for raises. Many of those individuals believe they are being presented with "take it or leave it" type offers. Sky is not believed to be among those asked to restructure their contract, but rather, her contract is expiring. She has told colleagues that she is not happy with how the negotiations are going. Unless the two can work out a deal in the very near future, she will be leaving the company.

Sky often responds to online rumors via Twitter, but has yet to address the matter.

Bubba is one of the very few truly exciting things left in TNA. Losing him would be pretty devastating. Especially when coupled with other recent or rumored exits ala West, Love, Shelley, Sabin, Sky, D-Von, and maybe Mickie.
TNA's product would suck and bore me even more than it usually has lately. If the E would pick up some of those people, I am likely back to spending on them.
There wont be a Knockouts Division left if more of em keep leaving
"It isn't jumping the shark if you never come back down." Chuck
TNa better keep them, WWE is horrificly starved for talent at the minute and would snap at least bully ray up real quick.
