I don't have a problem with it, for the simple reason that Gallows and Masters are the only ones of the rumored guys who were around WWE for more than a week or two. And both of those guys should be on TV somewhere right now.

After all, when they bring the stars it doesn't mean shit, they come in and do the same shit they were doing in WWE and seem lesser because they are on the shit promotion.
But midcarders? They can be completly different from what they were, and since no one cared about them in the past, they have a shot at getting over.
And, if the option is between guys who have been through WWE and guys like Alex Silva or what's his name that got beaten down before his gut-check match, I'm okay with former WWE wrestlers getting the shot. It's not as if they jumped on them as soon as their non-compete was up, they've got a story and a decent introduction. Can't ask for more than that.

When you click on their Twitter account of the Aces and Eights, it says they being followed by Jeff Jarrett & D Lo Brown, but not by anyone else in TNA. The following wrestlers are following them or tweeted about the group: Luke Gallows, Jay Bradley, Cliff Compton, Chris Masters, Wes Brisco, Jeff Jarrett, & D Lo Brown. Gallows and Brisco have been confirmed as taking part in the group attacks thus far.

If the pay off involves Joey Ryan wrestling one of the Gut Check judges then since Taz isn't able to do it I wondeer if Al Snow has a match left in him?

So am I the only one who likes the AJ date rape story? It's the kind of over the top ridiculous story I like in wrestling.

Speaking of. Anyone besides me get the vibe that they're playing a anti-bullying angle with Joseph Park and Bully Ray? This whole angle started was because Bully Ray was bullying Joseph Park and Joseph Park stood up to him because he had been bullied all his life by guys like him. I gotta say they're playing the anti-bullying angle better than WWE

Well, they did it when Austin Aries beat him too.
He was the big bully, AA was the small guy being bullied, and he heriocly defeated him.
This story doesn't really follow that because Joesph Park is abyss.

But we're not supposed to know that, at least at first since they are now playing the Joseph Park is really Abyss story

I attribute that to the fact that he looks like and reminds people of Penn Jillette.

I'm in the same situation - Abyss was okay with James Mitchell, but once he started talking it's all been absolutely awful. For whatever reason (maybe I just admire his snappy suits, knowing how hard it is for a big guy to dress well), the Joseph Park thing has been really good. I'd be happy if Abyss never showed up again, if he could keep being Joseph Park.
