YES, ABSO-FUKING-LUTELY 100%, more than anything else about johnny holmes, YES.

But all those reports had multiple people in WWE saying Vince really didn't remember what happens on Raw week to week anymore.
He still pushed Batista after Booker beat him up.

he likely doesn't remember RAW from last week, but if he remembers anything about holmes i bet it's that he let fruitista bang melina.

couple of things, 1)who wins is not important, it's standing up 2)booker T is a 265lbs ex-con 3)fruitista puts vinny on rock, when vince looks at holmes he likely thinks "well i could kick his ass". holmes is no HBK.

You might be right, but i think it's pretty stupid to not hire a guy when you need guys who can work is all.
Also, Vince probably doesn't like that he has a lawsuit, and might just hire him to spite TNA.

that's why they're supposed to have this shit figured out ahead of time, and if slapnuts was the only option don't start an angle destined to disappoint. lesson i'd hope they learned from the "THEY are coming" fiascos.

i agree, but imo aries keeping the title would be doing just that(changing it up). it looks to me like the longterm plan was to have storm eventually beat roode for the title, i think they should stick to that and come back to aries as he's shown he deserves his shot as well.

yeah, that's why i think the frogsplash is too much, but still think the amigos are OK. i mean eddy got the splash from art, the amigos aren't even a finisher. chavos got a right to homage his uncle i think.

i say make festus the frontman and rename the group "The Festxus"

which loosely translates to she's allowed to see other people.

    But.
When something pops you go with it, they let the Storm thing cool down and cool down it has, but Aries has turned out to be bigger than Storm ever was in the interim, and you don't blow off something good just because it fucks up your long term plans.
But impact, aside from a lackluster show here and there, has been firing on all cylinders, so i have little reason to doubht they will do what's best.
I like Aries but Storm winning would be more meaningful. Aries is like the short term thing that comes out of nowhere. It's the appeal of the "new" but I think emotionaly and so forth it would be greater Storm as champ. For one thing he is a better babyface, I think. Aries acts very much heelish most of the time but he is cheered anyway because of the smarks. But it's not supported by action. Storm has been at the bad end of the stick since he lost the belt to Roode, it's become almost a crusade at this point.

But Storm isn't as over as Aries now, they might be able to build him back up, but just listen to the crowd when he comes out compared to Aries.
If they can build storm back up, sure, go for it, but if he is still less over than Aries and the feud with Roode doesn't excite the crowd, following the original story means dick.

Was Storm ever as over as double A? During the whole time he was chasing Roode I didn't give a thought about him and tuned that whole feud out

I figured as much at the most I didn't think he has been as over since Beer Money

Also correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Black Jeez a contracted TNA wrestler who's wrestling in ROH?

so now they're supposed to let the fans you so often like to point out don't pay to get in, in the impact zone dictate longterm booking plans?? again you really want to let who's over with the impact zone decide who is the champ?? seriously, doing shit like that is what russo and company were bashed for for years, and what we criticize the WWE for doing. i'm not even the biggest storm fan but don't cut the guys legs off now, give him the chance he earned(and was likely promised).

i'm not sure what you guys are talking about but storm was as over as anybody in the company, maybe this when before alex started watching again idk, but during the BFG series, the after beating angle for the title, and then during the feud with roode storm was over like rover in the impact zone(which now means something i guess).

about BLK JEEZ, i don't think he's contracted by TNA yet, i think he and ruckus are just being brought in to fill out the tag tourney.

I forgot who the wrestler was or his name. But the story came out that the company sent him home and claimed Creative didn't have plans for him at that point. Well one month turned to 2 , and so on. Well close to 2 years pass and the guy was still getting WWE paychecks . Its only when someone discovered they had the guy still on the payroll did they release him. I always laugh at that aspect that the company forgot they had him on the payroll.

This actually happened in WCW years earlier. The company signed Lanny Poffo and discussed things to do with him. But being so busy they quickly forgot that Poffo worked for the company and ended up paying him for years and forgot they signed him.

If you don't let the fans dictate who to push, you put yourself in a really bad situation.
Yes, the impact zone doesn't pay to get in, but very few people at all pay to see any impact show, they still show up every week, they react to some stuff and don't react to other stuff, they are the fanbase.
