Jane's performance was the only remotely worthwhile thing about The Punisher, it was just wasted on the pile of crap that was the rest of the movie. The problem with War Zone is that it went too far in the opposite direction--all cartoon mayhem with no heart.

This short got the mix just about right. It's obvious Jane has an affection for/connection to the character. All that said, I hope they don't make another Punisher movie.

While I still wouldn't mind a movie a tv series, especially on HBO as Punisher is the kind of series that doesn't have to be special effects heavy. Also they could get away with telling the kind of story that a film version wouldn't allow them

Jane plays the Punisher as a man with "No Name". He's never called The Punisher at all. You just know it. This to me should be shopped to HBO execs and hope for a R rated 1 hour series. It could be the most violent series on TV. With an anti-hero who just can't help but do the things he does.

Great idea. Even better if they based the series after the Punisher MAX comic

I actually hadn't see Jane's Punisher movie until a couple of weeks ago (I actually liked it quite a bit). So this was a nice treat to find for me since the movie was fresh in my memory.

I seriously think Jane should get another crack at the role.

i can see that, i still generally liked Warzone. but i can't help but think that lionsgate preferred to have a R-rated action adventure film then a gritty crime fiction revenge movie. that's why Jane left in the first place. Lexi Alexander pretty much confirmed this.
